Chapter 13

Vanessa's POV
"YOU WANT ME TO LIVE WITH YOU FOREVER!? YOU WANT ME TO FORGET ALL ABOUT MY LIFE AND GO WITH YOU?I'M SORRY BUT YOU ARE NOT A TRUE TWINNER. TWINNERS WILL NEVER HURT US!" I was yelling at the top of my lungs now. All of my emotions rushed out- anguish, anger, sorrow, regret. I could not believe that such a pervert would actually be a fan of us.
"What about Roni? You care about her, don't you?" He said calmly.
I quietened down. He was right. Roni was my other half, I could live without her. I would do ANYTHING to be with her. Roni was the only person I cared about. I lunged forward, tackling him down to the ground. He groaned but pushed me off.
"How dare you try to fight me. To think that you guys are perfect. Check your YouTube account." He said, brushing me off as he handed me his phone.
I looked at his phone and realised that there was a new video that we never posted. I clicked on it. Immediately, Roni's face showed up.

"Hey guys. I'm Veronica. I do not know where Vanessa is. I have no idea who I am. I am not the perfect, quirky person, all of you think I am. I am a loser. Vanessa Merrell? She doesn't exist. She never had and never will. In fact, she is a character that I made up and she had always been the prettier twin, the flawless one. Everyone likes her more. Well, I regret to tell you guys that it is just me. We are no longer the Merrell twins. It is just Veronica Merrell. "
Tears rolled down my face. How could Roni said that. I scrolled through the comments. They were like:
I had always like you better anyways Veronica.

So glad Vanessa doesn't exist. She sucks anyway

My eyes watered and I had to stifle my sobs.
"YOU TOLD HER TO SAID THAT YOU LIAR!"
I screamed.
He shrugged his shoulders and turned away. No one liked me. Everyone likes Roni more. A sob escaped and I buried my face in my hands.
"Don't listen to him Nessa." A familiar voice resounded.
I heard the thundering of footsteps as men rushed down and brought Sideous down. Collins rubbed my back and sat next to me.
"He is just manipulating you." I cried buckets of tears and realised what a fool I was to have believed him for a second. Suddenly a gunshot resounded and I looked around. Collins' men was backing away from Sideous. Sideous took the opportunity to run towards an abandoned house.
"Oh and by the way, I did not break your promise. I did not follow you, I went to the location by myself and technically, I did not put Roni in danger. I messaged my friends to help, not "tell" them to help." Collins yelled over his shoulders as he rushed towards the abandoned house. I followed closely behind.
Collins POV
  Things was NOT going as planned. I did not realise that he had a gun. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw what was in front of me. Roni was tied to a chair and knocked unconscious. The kidnapper had his gun pointed to Roni's temples.
"If you dare step closer, I'll kill her. I like Roni and I'll make sure she is mine."
