Collins' POV
"Yours? Excuse me. She's mine." I scoffed. I had a few tricks up my sleeves that could distract him.
"Before you touch her, please picture something." I said in my stage voice as I slowly inched towards them.
"I'm seeing something gleaming... Hmm... Something sharp perhaps. It seems like something dangerous." I tried to stall time as I slowly inched towards Sideous. He seemed pretty relax and confident of himself. That confidence would cause him everything. "Is it a knife?" I said smugly. He seemed impressed and clapped his hands. I snapped my fingers and a knife appeared in my hands. Just like throwing cards, I threw the knife slightly above his shoulders. He was startled and he pulled the trigger. Time seemed to came to a standstill. The bullet shot Roni in the stomach. The knife pinned him towards a wall and I rushed towards Roni. My men ran forward and pinned him down. Nessa hurried towards Roni and I untied her quickly while Nessa pressed down, trying to staunch the blood flow. I took her pulse, it was slow and unsteady. Picking her up bridal-style, I tore off Nessa's hood and tied it around Roni. Her lips were pale and her hands were cold. I ran over to the car and placed her gingerly at the back while Nessa clambered into the car. I pressed the gas pedal and we sped off. My men would call the cops and head home. I was sure of that. Time was ticking. Every second counts. It was very late at night so I had smooth traffic. I might have dashed a red light. We finally made it to the hospital. I held Roni tight and rushed her into the emergency section. The nurses took over and wheeled her into the Emergency Room. The light went on and the door closed. So much had happened in just one night. The thought of losing Roni was unbearable. I sat down on the chairs and waited, while Nessa paced up and down the halls. The twins' parents were informed and they rushed over.
"I knew there was something fishy." Their dad kept grumbling.Veronica's POV
A bright light shine upon me, blinding me. I could not see anything. I could hear many people chattering. They were all using medical terms that I had no idea what it was.
"Brain activity is high." Someone said.
"Put her to sleep." Another person said before darkness welcomed me.A/N I'm in the mood to write! I have 4 days without school and I wanted to end the book after this incident but it seemed too short so I might continue. I'm not sure but we'll see 😄
