Veronica's POV
RING!
Groaning, I tossed over to my side and fumbled to get my phone. I squinted at the bright glare and slowly got out of bed. With my eyes closed, I walked into the toilet and brushed my teeth. I bathed and did my makeup. After that,I rushed down the stairs, nearly tripping over the two excess steps that I had no idea why it had to be there.
"Curse those steps." I mumbled under my breath as I walked towards the kitchen. Pouring myself a bowl of cereal, I sat down and saw Nessa walking down.
"Morning Nessa." I said.
She smiled at me and poured herself a bowl of cereal too. That was basically how our morning
always goes. We then grabbed our bags and drove to school. I hate mornings.
When we reached school, it was already buzzing with morning chatters. We saw Collins Key, one of our closest friends, and walked up to him.
"Hey Collins!" Nessa and I said in unison.
He gave us each a hi-five and we walked to class. Collins Key is the perfect funny Friend that everyone wants to be friends with. He makes me super happy and makes me forget all about my worries. During our collaborations, I cannot help but steal glances at him. Somehow,the twinners always seem to try to ship him with me. I feel kind of happy yet embarrassed too. However, I am not ready for a relationship now. It just was not the right time. Sighing,I hurried over to Nessa and Collins.
