"How's Life, Rachel?" Chapter 9: Party Time!

Sorry this such a late update. I was busy during Thanksgiving break with traveling and doing college stuff. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, who celebrates it. Also I had to get a tooth pulled and I've been in a lot of pain which hasn't helped my writing and I haven't been feeling good too. But luckily I was able to pull myself together to get this chapter done, so here is chapter nine. *Disclaimer I Do Not Own Glee*

It had been 4 weeks since Stella began to live with Finn and Rachel. Stella was settling with the changes that had taken place with her living with Finn and Rachel. So far everyone was settling in and things have been going well for the family. Stella had been enrolled into the same school that Beth goes to. They have become good friends and hang out a lot. Finn and Rachel noticed that Stella enjoyed dancing, so they started her in dance classes at Santana and Brittany's studio. She also hung out with Kurt at and was taking piano lessens with Blaine, which she enjoyed a lot. But the place she loved to be the most was being home with Finn and Rachel. Finn and Rachel were so happy to have Stella added to their family. Sadly the adoption process was still not done, and she was not officially theirs yet but that didn't matter to them because they were in so much love with her and would wait as long as it takes until she is theirs.

It was finally the day for Rachel's baby shower. It was five in the morning and Rachel was the first person to wake up, because she was full of excitement to see all her friends but also twins were kicking crazy. She was sitting up in her bed, with Finn next to her asleep, playing on her phone when her bedroom door opened. It was Stella in her pjs, still with sleep in her eyes.

"Stella, what are you doing up?" Rachel asked the girl.

"I couldn't sleep anymore," Stella said now standing next to the bed.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because I'm nervous," Stella said putting her head down.

"Come here," she said helping Stella onto the bed," What are you nervous about, sweetie?"

"About meeting your friends. What if they don't like me?"

"Stella, their going go like you. They've talked to me on how excited that they are to meet you, okay?"

"Okay. Rachel, can I stay in here with you and Finn?"

"Of course, you can honey. You're going to need your energy for later."

Rachel pulled the girl close and covered them in the blanket that was on the bed and slowly fell asleep.

It was eight in the morning when Finn started to wake up, when he got he saw his beautiful wife sleeping with Stella lying next to her. He decided that he would let the girls get some more sleep, so he went into the bathroom to get dressed and ready for the long day.

When he was he found a waking Rachel, "Hello Sleeping Beauty," he said looking at her.

"Hey, Finn. What time is it?" She asked sitting herself up.

"Its 8:30 am," he said looking at his watch.

"Okay, I guess I'm going to have to get up and so is our little princess," she said looking at Stella next to her still asleep.

"Yep," Finn smirked," While you two get ready I'll go figure out some breakfast. Okay?"

"Okay," Rachel said giving him a kiss and he left the room to the kitchen.

When Stella started to wake up, "Hey, Stell you're going to have to get up now to get ready," she said looking at the girl.

"Okay," Stella said stretching and climbing out of the bed to head to her room to get dressed.
