Chapter 12: Finally!

Sorry guys, I has taken me so long to update. There were the holidays, then I had school, was working in a show, and other things, but I'm back. I have made an outline for the rest of this story, so updates should be faster hopefully. There are going to be 25 chapters overall, so there are 13 more. The holidays were over and everything was going back to normal.

It was three o'clock when Finn and Stella came home from school. When they came in they found Rachel in the couch watching TV. "Hey, guys. How was school?" she asked.

"It was fine," Stella said sitting down next to her.

"Just fine?" Rachel asked the girl.

"Yeah, nothing much happened," Stella said, "how was your day, mom?"

"Mine was fine. Your brother and sister have been moving around a lot," Rachel said smiling towards Stella then at Finn. Rachel couldn't believe she was 32 weeks pregnant.

"Are they moving now," Finn said sitting next his wife.

"No, they stopped a while ago," Rachel said placing a hand on her stomach.

"Aww, it is fun when they move," Stella said smiling.

"Yeah, for you guys, not so much for me," Rachel said with a smirk.

"Is watching TV all you did all day, Rachel?" Finn asked his wife.

"No, I did some planning for Stella's birthday party. Stell, are you getting excited? You will be in the double digits in just a week," Rachel said looking at her daughter.

"Yeah!" Stella said with a smile.

"If you could ask for one thing for your birthday, what would it be?" Finn asked.

"I already got what I wanted," Stella said.

"What is that?" Rachel asked.

"A family," Stella said smiling at her parents-to-be.

"Oh, Stella we love you," Finn said grabbing Rachel and Stella and squeezing them in a group hug.

A few minutes later, they heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it," Finn said letting go of Rachel and Stella.

When he opened the door, he found Miss Madison on the other side.

"Hey, Miss Madison. We haven't talked in a while. What are you doing here?" Finn asked.

"I have some news for you and Rachel, is Rachel here?" Miss Madison asked.

"Yeah, come in," Finn said letting her in.

"Miss Madison!" Stella shouted and ran and hugged Miss Madison.

"Hello, Stella! How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good. It's my birthday in a week!" Stella said.

"I know, you're going to be 10,"Miss Madison said with a smile.

"Yep, the double digits," Stella said smiling back.

"Hey, Miss Madison," Rachel said getting off the couch," How have you been?"

"I've been good, but I came here today because I have news for you and Finn," Miss Madison said.

"Okay, what is it?" Rachel said sitting back down.

"While the adoption process has been long, but I wanted to be the one to deliver the news, that a judge went over your situation with Stella, and have decided to grant you and Finn full custody of Stella," Miss Madison said smiling at Stella.
