Chapter 21: Alone Time

Today was Valentine's Day, Finn and Rachel were getting a day of well needed alone time. Shelby had took the kids for the weekend for Finn and Rachel could be alone.

Finn had woke and found Rachel still asleep, so he decided that he would be romantic and make her a nice breakfast. He made her vegan pancakes shaped into hearts with strawberries and whipped cream on top.

When he came back in the room, he found Rachel slowly waking up,"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty."

"Good morning to you," Rachel said sitting up,"You made me breakfast?"

"Of course, I did," Finn said placing the tray of food in her lap.

"Thanks, Finn," Rachel said giving Finn a kiss and started to eat her food.

"Your welcome," Finn said sitting next to Rachel,"So, do you hear that?"

"What?" Rachel asked finishing the last of her breakfast.

"Nothing," Finn said giving Rachel a smile,"No crying, no screaming, no kids."

"We are all alone," Rachel said putting her tray on a table next to the bed,"It's just you and me."

"Yep," Finn said starting to kiss Rachel's neck,"We finally have some well needed alone time."

"Oh, Mr. Hudson!"

Finn and Rachel finished having their well needed 'fun', bow were laying close in each other's arms.

"Wow, that was amazing," Rachel said laying on Finn's chest.

"Yes, it was. I love you," Finn said kissing Rachel's forehead.

"I love you, too," Rachel said smiling.

"Do you miss this? It just being me and you?" Finn asked looking at his wife.

"I love our kids, but sometimes I do," Rachel replied,"Is that bad?"

"No, I feel the same way sometimes," Finn said,"I'm pretty sure all parents do."

"Yeah, so what are the plans for the rest of the day without the kids?" Rachel asked sitting up.

"I was thinking that we would watch a movie, enjoy a nice dinner in, do some singing, then we can see what happens after that. Does that sound good to you?" Finn said.

"Yes, it does," Rachel said,"So what movie were you thinking of watching, Mr Hudson?"

"I was thinking Valentine's Day, because today is Valentine's Day and also we both like the movie a lot." Finn said

"Good choice."

Once the couple finished the movie, they made dinner. Rachel made her amazing vegan lasagna, and Finn made some garlic bread and put together a salad.

Once they were done, they sat down to enjoy their meal together.

"Happy Valentine's Day," Finn said pouring wine and Rachel's glass and his.

"Happy Valentine's Day," Rachel said with a smile raising her glass.

"Let's eat," Finn said and the couple began to eat.
