The Kuran Queen (2) [Hiatus - **EDITING**]

Elastic kids could be heard everywhere you turned. I, along with my older brother Hanabusa, were at a "daycare" so to speak. Everyone here are Aristocrats and our parents tend to get busy a lot.

Hanabusa was talking to his group, Ruka, Akatsuki, and Takuma, while I stood next to him in pure silence. I wasn't a very outgoing girl, I was very timid and kept to myself. Hanabusa always edged me on to make a conversation but I never got out more than three words.

Today all the kids were more excited then usual. I had no idea why but everyone else seemed to know, including my brother. It wasn't until they walked through the door that I finally realized why everyone was so elastic.

There, standing before us, was Juuri and Haruka Kuran. Along with their two children Kaname and Sakura. Although everyone was elastic, silence spread through the daycare like wildfire. None of us had seen Purebloods before. They were so...

Sakura seemed to be the most elastic of her family. She was so giddy, which was told is rare amongst Purebloods. Her brother smiled down at his sister and I heard a small giggle. I see Juuri bend down to her two children.

"Go have fun, we'll be back soon," she purred, kissing her children on their foreheads.

As soon as Kaname and Sakura's parents left the room went crazy. We weren't amongst the leaders of the vampires, we now had the opportunity to hang out with their children. Everyone was so excited, while I stayed silent. Of course I was shocked. But I'm not one to go bananas when I see something new.

I got trampled by kids who wanted to meet the Kuran's children. As I was attempting to get up a hand unfolded before me.

"Need a hand?"

I looked up and saw Sakura Kuran smiling down at me. I hesitated for a second but then took her hand and I saw my brother look over at us. He slipped away from his friends and came over to Sakura and I and wrapped an arm around me and smiled one of his cheeky smiles.

"Ha, ha, clumsy Mine." He boasts while patting my head as if I was a dog.

Sakura tilted her head, "Your names Mine? It's pre--"

"My name is Hanabusa, nice to meet you!" Hanabusa took Sakura's hand and shook it, even though she looked at him confused.

"Nice to meet you," she says, forcing her hand out of his grasp.

Hanabusa looked like he was having the time of his life. His eyes were lit up and he looked so elastic to be talking to the future queen of the vampires. He stood there with his mouth gaping open in awe before Sakura said, "Can I speak to Mine alone please?"

Hanabusa is snapped back into his senses, "Of course!" Off my brother goes to interact with Kaname.

Once Hanabusa was long gone Sakura took my hand and smiled, "So, what do you want to do?"

"Oh! Uhh--" I paused. "Anything you want to do."

"Hmm.... what if we draw? Do you like to draw?" She asks.
