Chapter Fifteen: Goodbye

Just mere minutes ago Zero and I stopped dancing the night away. The night really did fly by in a flash. Before I knew it the music had stopped and Zero left almost as quickly as he came. Was he embarrassed about what happened? After the music stopped he did look a bit flustered. But despite that he did look a little cute.

As I'm walking back to the Moon Dorms Yuuki wraps her arms tightly around me, taking me by surprise. She looks up at me with her sweet brown eyes and wide smile. I do a sly smile back.

"Thank you for doing this Onee-chan!" She exclaims. "Tonight was really fun!"

"Your welcome, Yuuki. I'm glad you had a great time!"

I ruffle Yuuki's hair and she giggles. Out of the corner of my eye I see Kaname smiling. Likely at the sight of his two sisters bonding. His smile warms my heart, even when we were kids.

Naomi sighs, "Man that was a lot of fun! We should totally do that again before summer comes!"

Claude wraps an arm around his twin and smiles brightly. Clearly agreeing with Naomi.

"I've got a question," Mine snickers, bringing her index finger to her lips. "Who else got thousands of dancing requests?"

"Me!" Mikou exclaims raising a hand into the air.

Everyone, including me, starts laughing on the spot. Mikou is just too funny. Before long, after the giggles had stopped, we arrive at the Moon Dorms. Everyone rushes in, but a hand touches my shoulder.

"Kaname?" I ask surprised. "What's wrong?"

"Yeah, what is it?" Yuuki asks as well. I just now noticed that Kaname has his other hand on Yuuki's bare shoulder.

"Do you mind if I talk to you two privately for a few moments?" Kaname asks weary.

I look at my sister with a confused look on my face. She shares the same look, but her eyes show more concern. She loves her Onii-chan, as do I, but he never asks us if he can speak privately. Well, at least with such a sad, weary face.

"Uh, sure," I say shakily. "Mikou, could you please show the Night Class inside?"

Mikou nods his head and everyone except Yuuki, Kaname, and I follow him through the massive doors. Kaname leads us off to the side, out of sight for prying eyes. There is a moment of silence between the three of us, until Yuuki breaks it.

"What did you want to talk to us about Onii-chan?" She asks.

"I really don't want to say this," Kaname pauses. "I must leave. I hope you can forgive me."

Yuuki's eyes go wide, "You can't!"

I ignore Yuuki's rage. I caress Kaname's cheek and smile up at him, he looks up at me with slightly wide eyes. Was he expecting me to act like Yuuki?

"Let me guess, you have to get back to work?" I ask.

Kaname slightly nods, "I'm afraid so. I've been away for too long."

Yuuki bursts, totally outraged, "Then I'll come too!"

Kaname shakes his head before putting his hand on Yuuki's shoulder. "I need you to stay here, with Sakura. Can you do that for me, Yuuki?"

Yuuki looks at Kaname with her pouty eyes, obviously trying to seduce him to let her go with him. It won't work on him however, he's learned to deal with it.

Instead Kaname looks at me with a smile and pleading eyes. He obviously wants me to help convince Yuuki to stay with me. But do I really want Yuuki to stay? After all...
