Mirabelle and Stephanie were sitting on Mirabelle's oak wood porch, chatting and enjoying their cups of green tea. "How long," Stephanie began, putting her cup down on the table. "Until the baby's due, again?" Mirabelle looked down at her yellow dress with a tiny bow at the outstretched waist, smiling. "At least another month," She replied.

"What about yours?" Mirabelle asked. Stephanie had a lump coming out of her stomach as well, covered by a blue polka dotted blouse. "Any day now," Stephanie grinned. "I just simply can't wait to hold my little one in my arms." She said dreamily. "Wouldn't it be divine if our children played together?" Mirabelle sighed.

"Of course they will, I couldn't think of a better playma-" Stephanie began, but couldn't finish. She clenched her round stomach, sweat forming on her forehead. "Nathen! Oh! It's time!" Stephanie called. Mirabelle stood up, rushing toward Stephanie and helping her up from her chair. Nathen hurried over. "Come," He said to Stephanie and Mirabelle. "In the car. We have to get you to the hospital." He led the two women to their his vehicle.

Nathen sped to the hospital and helped both women out of the car. "I'll go check us in," He said and turned to Mirabelle. "Please, help her inside." He rushed inside to a receptionist. "Remember the strategy, Steph?" Mirabelle said calmly. "Staggered breathing. In, in, in, and out..." She repeated their pregnancy coaches instructions.
