AN: Her dress for the episode

The next day was the big event: the crowning of Miss Mystic Falls. Eira was cheering for Caroline to win. She didn't have anything against Elena, she just liked Caroline more.

    Eira was getting ready for event. She put on a short, cocktail dress. It was black with white shimmer. It shined in the light, which made Eira stand out when light was on the dress.

She got the dress on when Stefan knocked on the door. "Eira, hurry up. You're going to make me late."

"I'm coming," Eira hurried and grabbed some black heels and she put them on, hopping on one foot then the other to the door.

She opened the door and Stefan's eyes widened. He thought she looked beautiful but then he went into protective brother mode. "Don't you think that dress is a little short?"

"What? It was in my closet. Stefan, we're late. Why does it matter?" Eira walked past him and down the stairs.

Stefan grumbled but followed her. They exited the house and got in the car going to the Founder's Hall where the event was held. There were a lot of people so, Stefan had to park at the side of the road behind another car.

They got out and walked to the house. There were people bustling about and there was soft music being played. There were tables with white tablecloths on them and waiters went around passing champagne out to people that were old enough.

"Hey, I'm going to see Elena, ok?" Stefan stated.

"Yeah, that's fine," Eira answered.

Stefan left and Eira was soon joined by men who wanted her attention. She kindly greeted them, being polite but then she excused herself and walked away. The dance was about to start and she went outside and found Jenna and Alaric.

"Hey, Eira," Jenna greeted her.

Eira smiled back,"Hi, Jenna and Alaric."

Alaric nodded his head at her in greeting. Eira had decided that Jenna and Alaric were a great couple. They seemed cute together.

Eira stood next to Jenna and Alaric as the contestants with their escorts came out to start the dance. The girl named Amber was nowhere to be found. Caroline and her escort came out and Eira smiled at her. Eira expected Elena and Stefan to be next but, it shocked her when Elena came out with Damon as her escort.

"What is she doing with Damon?" Jenna asked Alaric.

"I have no idea," Alaric answered and he looked at Eira.

Eira shook her head. She had no clue why Stefan wasn't with Elena. She was worried, though. Something bad must've happened for Stefan not to be here.

The dance started and she saw Caroline do what Eira told her which was to slightly smile. Eira also noticed that Elena and Damon were staring intensely into each other's eyes. She didn't like that, at all. Her mood changed drastically seeing that.

Eira had seen the look Damon held with Elena before. It was the same look he had with Katherine. Eira was beyond upset that Damon was in love Stefan's girl and she was upset that Elena just let it happen. Thunder rumbled in the distance indicating her mood as the dance ended.

Everyone gathered inside to crown the new Miss Mystic Falls. Eira was the first inside as she couldn't even stand to look at Elena or Damon. Lightning kept flashing through the sky and thunder still rumbled.

"Before I crown the winner, I'd like to offer a personal thank you to all of these young ladies for their efforts to better our community," Mayor Lockwood stated and everyone applauded including Eira.
