Eira and Rebekah walked down the stairs of the Salvatore house. They were going to school together for the first day. Rebekah told Eira that she never went to high school and so Eira decided to go with her since no one was really making her go.

Rebekah and Eira had to step over two girls' dead bodies that were laying on the bottom of the staircase. Stefan and Damon looked at them, wondering where Rebekah came from.

"Who the hell are you?" Damon questioned.

"Rebekah. Klaus' sister. He left her here," Eira answered.

"Pleasure, I'm sure," Rebekah greeted Damon.

"And you decided it was okay to invite her in here?" Stefan asked Eira.

Eira crossed her arms,"Yes. She's my friend."

"And we are going to school," Rebekah inputted and she grabbed Eira's arm, pulling her along with her.

Rebekah and Eira left and Stefan looked at Damon,"So I guess she's staying here."

Rebekah and Eira walked into first period together. They were late because Rebekah had to do Klaus' bidding and keep a watch on Tyler, so she gave him a blood bag.

As they walked into first period, Rebekah spoke,"What about the Vikings?"

Rebekah sat down in front of Elena and Eira sat down next to her which was in front of Stefan. Caroline and Elena stared at them.

"There's no evidence that Viking explorers actually settled in the United States. Who are you?" Alaric asked.

"My name's Rebekah. I'm new. And history's my favorite subject," Rebekah smiled.

After school, Rebekah wanted to try out for the cheerleading team but Eira didn't want any part of that so she went on the running track and jogged. Eira saw Elena and she jogged next to her.

Stefan came and jogged next to them,"Look at both of you, being all fit."

Stefan looked at Eira,"And what are you doing with Rebekah?"

"Why do you care?" Eira questioned.

"Klaus ordered me to look after you. Just doing my job," Stefan answered even though when he looked at her a flicker of emotion came and went.

"She's my friend. I can make friends with whoever I want," Eira said and started jogging the other way with Elena doing the same.

Stefan jogged backwards,"Are you both of you going to the bonfire tonight? Sounds like fun, right?"

A guy bumped into Elena accidentally and he apologized. Stefan pushed him to the ground and stood over him,"Watch it, dick."

"Who are you?" Elena questioned while Eira looked on with wide eyes.

"I'm the guy who's been assigned to protect a human blood bag. I mean, no offense or anything," Stefan answered before looking at Eira. "And I have to protect you because Klaus has an obsession."

Elena shook her head and walked off. Eira looked at Stefan with disbelief at his rudeness,"Really?"

"What?" Stefan questioned and Eira walked away from him as well.
