"Some things are just simple, and I believe when you know, you know. There was no question: I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I wanted with her what the stars share with the sky."
[Christopher Poindexter][SUMMARY]
Eira Salvatore was a girl with a complicated past and her present got even more complicated when she met the Original Hybrid. When she met him, she couldn't hate him. She couldn't hate anybody, really. That was just who she was. So, of course, it was easy for her to like him.
It was also easy for him to like her. She was beautiful in every way to him. He quickly fell into a fascination with her and she with him.
And because of that, ultimately, that would be her doom. All anyone could do was hope and pray that in the end it would be alright. But being around him, nothing would ever be alright.
Not ever.
"I'll happily deal with you for eternity."
"You'd promise eternity to me?"
