Alex's pov
i sat on a swing kicking wood chips watching the cars go by waiting for hayden to pull up. i sat there for what felt like hours. my phone buzzed and i pulled it out of my pocket and checked it.
Lion: Hi sorry we got lost ill be there soon.
Bear: Okay be safe.
it hit me as i realised my friend of a year was coming to see me. i ran and hid in a tunnel slide until i heard a car pull in. i poked my head out to see a very familiar face sitting in the drivers seat. i stared until hayden got out and i ran to her not caring how stupid i looked and hugged her. the skin touching her arms wrapped around my chest i felt like i was home a small little home i could put in my pocket. i finally let go of hayden after us hugging for a while.
she looked up at me with her big green eyes and i smiled at her.
"hi" she giggled out and hid her face with her hands
"you're smaller than i thought" i smiled moving her hands off her face
"i get that a lot" she smiled
