Alex POV
I stared into the eyes of my best friend. They looked tired sad but had crinkles from laughing and smiling from the weeks we were together.
She came over 1,000 miles to see me and saying goodbye is always the hardest knowing she might never come back.
I felt a pair of eyes on me the whole way to the airport.
My grandpa stopped his car and told us to say our goodbyes and to find him after were done.
We got out to walk into a quiet front entrance.
I grabbed her and held her for the longest time before whispering out "please not let this be goodbye"
She sighed and whispered "its never goodbye its see ya later."
A few minutes later her announcement was said.
" I love you " she smiled looking up at me
" I love you too " I smiled
She picked up her Backpack and started to walk off
"Before you go!" I yelled while jogging up to her.
" I'll always love you the most." I planted a kiss on her lips and walked off.
I got a text almost instantly when I got in my grandpa's car.
Lion: see ya later.
Me: see ya later.
With that I was happy.
