Hayden's POV
It was two days before alex turned 16 and we were on our normal Skype call with alex playing a game and me trying to prevent another sim dying.
Alex broke the silence "lion?"
I looked up at the camera to let alex know I was paying attention to them.
She sighed "I wish you could be there for my birthday party."
I bit my tongue trying not to cry at how sad they looked but I opened my mouth to say two words "Me too."
Alex sighed but giggled and said "have you checked on the Sim?"
"Oh Frick" I laughed and looked at the other screen to see my house in flames. "Well that was short lived."
They snickered and said "what way this time?"
I sighed and said "another burner"
About an hour later
I quit Sims and settled into my crease of my bed and played on my phone.
"I think I might go to sleep lion" alex broke the silence
"Me too bear." I looker over to see a sleepy alex on the screen.
"Goodnight. I love you" alex smiled
"Goodnight I love you too" I smiled back
The call ended shortly after.
Alex POV
it was the day before my birthday.
I texted hayden the whole day but never got a reply.
Maybe she's busy we will call like always at night and play our video games. Like we have planned.
I finished up my day at school and got into my friends car and sighed loudly.
"What's wrong alex?" Kiegan asked
"Hayden won't text me back. I feel like I didn't something really wrong." I pouted looking out the window.
"You did nothing wrong HK gets busy all the time." She said softly
"I feel like everyone is hiding something from me." I looked over
"Its a feeling I promise." She sighed
A few minutes later we were at my house I thanked Kiegan for the ride home like always and walked to my door step and walked in.
The next hours I still never heard from Hayden so I called.
"Hey this is Hayden sorry I can't answer right now please leave a message and I'll get back soon as I can!"
*beep*
'Hey lion it's been all day and I haven't heard from you and I miss you I hope you're ok. Call me very soon!'
I put on muse and fell asleep.
Hayden POV
I finished school work for the week and started to pack my clothes for the week I wouldnt be home.
I started to drive to Texas around 10am so I would get there and be able to sleep.
I arrived at the hotel and fell asleep with clothes and everything including shoes on. I was tired and needed rest for tomorrow.
I woke up at 8:30am and started to get everything together. I had a poster and everything planned for this.
Then I got a text.
Bean: hey I'm sorry you cant make it to my party but I'm going to do a younow for it so you can be there in chat. I love you talk to you in a few!
Me: hey yes do that I'm joining now!
I parked my car in Alex's drive way and met Kiegan at the house.
"Alex will cry about this." Kiegan smiled more excited than alex was obviously
"I hope she will be happy about this." I laughed
We walked into the back yard where alex had went inside to get the port for the ipod.
All of alexs friends smiled at me when they saw me but they were in on the surprise.
Alex walked out and covered their mouth.
I smiled at them and yelled "happy birthday bear!"
I walked over to alex and we hugged.
I always got the regular bear hug I get then a kiss on the forehead.
That night we hung out played cards raised a sims family together.
It was the first Sims family that lived the longest in my books.
Damn I love you.
