Chapter 27

~Nia P.O.V~
I couldn't believe my eyes. My mom looked like a new person and she looked healthy.

"Hey Baby" She said walking up to me and giving me a hug. I can't believe I hugged back.

"Come in" She said and that's when I got that weird feeling again. It's like something was telling me to leave but I brushed it off.

When we got inside and went into the kitchen I sat down. A few minutes later my mom came bringing our food and drinks.

We caught up and she told me she had just got of rehab and got her life together. I was happy to hear that because I wanted to get to know my mom.

We laughed and talked and it felt good to see this side of my mom. As we was talking Tia came in with her loud ass friends. I was kind of scared because I didn't have my taser or nothing on me. Damn I know I should have went with my bad feeling.

"Hey sister" Tia said acting all fake and ignored her.

"Ooo I forgot I have to go to work. Bye Nia I'll see you later" My mom said hugging me and rushing out the door.

What the fuck? She never told me she had job.

"Well I'm about to leave too" I said getting up.

"Nia you don't wanna sit and talk to your sister. You think since you living large you can't hang where you from" Tia said standing in front of me.

"I don't think that. It's just I don't wanna be around fake ass people like you" I said about to walk off but she blocked my way.

"Yea bitch well guess what you not-"

I cut her off with a punch to her face and slapped the fuck out of her. I slammed her and got on top of her and started punching her.

"BITCH YOU MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL AND I KNOW YOU JUMPED ME TOO HOE" I yelled slamming her head into the floor and her friends pulled me off of her.

I pushed they hands off and rushed out the door and sped off in my car. I was driving and then the car stopped and I ran out of gas.

Damn.

I called everybody phone but they didn't answer. Damn I knew I shouldn't have brought my damn ass over here.

This boy knocked on my window and I rolled it down just a little.

"Aye ma, you need me to go get you some gas?" He asked and I nodded.

He left and came back 15 minutes later. After putting the gas in my car I was about to walk off until he stopped me.

"Don't you got to Royal High? You Nia right?" He asked and I nodded.

"Quan" He said and I nodded.

"Well I guess I'll see you at school" He continued and I nodded.

I got back in my car and went home. Nobody was here and I guess Momma J left. Imma miss her cooking and talking to her. But stuff happens everything don't last forever. I guess.

What Jason said to me hurt like hell but it's true. I shouldn't have left him like that and on top of that I lied about it. You don't leave your child for a man and make a family with him.
