Sometimes, you just can't
tell anybody how you really feel. Not because you don't know why. Not because you
don't know your purpose.
Not because you don't trust them. But because you can't
find the right words to
make them understand.

~Nia P.O.V~
Today was the day before Christmas Eve and I was so excited. I was staying over at my dad house because we was celebrating Christmas at his house.

I was in the living room watching tv with Jason and holding a sleeping Neveah in my arms. I wish she could stay a baby forever but I know that's not gonna happen.

"You talked to Breyelle?" He asked me.

"Yea, she's on her way"

"Okay"

I decided to text Lucas and see was he gonna come over for Christmas. I've been distant from him lately because I just don't know what else he could be hiding from me.

~Breyelle P.O.V~
I had just arrived at Nia dad house and I was praying that Jason didn't answer.

I knocked on the door and Jason opened it. My wish didn't come true.

"Hey" I said walking in.

"Wassup" He said closing the door.

I walked into the living room where I figured Nia was but she wasn't even in here. Now I feel like this was a setup.

"Where is Nia?"

"She upstairs talking to Lucas"

"Oh" 

I didn't know what else to say to him. Me and him are over because I'm with Dre now.

"Breyelle" He said sitting beside me on the couch.

"Yea?"

"I miss you"

Why did he had to say that?

"Oh"

"Oh? That's all you can say?"

"What am I suppose to say? I'm not about to lie and say I miss you. I'm in a relationship with Dre if you didn't know"

"You really think that's gone last?"

"You can't talk because I really thought me and you was gone last but that didn't happen"

"Why you always bringing up the past? I thought we was focused on the future"

"Because I can't get over you Jason. That's the truth"

"Then why you with him? He not gonna make up for the times we had. So why you with him?"

"It's really none of your business why I'm with him"

"Because you don't know. You think if you stay with him then you will be able to get over me"

"No, I love him. That's why I'm with him because I love him"

He didn't say anything.

"It hurts doesn't it?"

He didn't say anything else but get up and leave. I heard a door slam and I knew he had left.

I lied when I said I love Dre, but I will eventually will love him. I just hope I didn't make a mistake by being with him. I need someone different for me.

I was in my room talking to Lucas and honestly I just wish for this conversation to be over with. I'm tired of explaining my self over and over again about the same thing.
