Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

~Heler's POV

It's been a tradition as long as I can remember. My mother once told me how it came to be, but I was too excited to pay attention. On my 5th birthday was the first time I got my fortune told by a real fortune teller. She predicted my best friend's name would start with the letter M, and soon enough I met a girl named Madison.

Every since then we make it a habit to go get our fortune told on Halloween. On our planet Halloween isn't about spooky decorations and candy. It's more about the human world. Although, getting a fortune counts as supernatural and not human it's still something everyone does.

"Maddie, hurry up! We don't have all day the line is going to be long."

"I'm coming, okay! I just need ten more minutes" Madison yelled.

I marched up the stairs and forcefully dragged Maddie down the stairs.

"We don't have all day, and it's my fourteenth birthday. Fiona said she'll give me a long fortune today."

"Okay, okay but only because it's your birthday I'll allow you to rush me."

Finally, leaving the house I wave goodbye to my aunt. Taking the shortcut to the fortune camp. When we were little we found this little tunnel made out of glass. We almost can't fit anymore.

"This is it, through this tunnel and to the camp" I sighed looking at Maddie.

"Well, let's go like you said we don't have all day" Maddie laughing mocking me.

I pushed her in the tube playfully and she was sucked in. I jumped in after her. The ride went by pretty quick and before you know it we're at the camp. The looks of this place amazes me every time. The planet itself is very purple, so the blue and gold really makes this place sparkle.

It's dark, but with all the aliens around it's bright with colors. Some of their skin glows red, some yellow. Every alien has a different glow to their skin. It's always beautiful at night.

We walk around until we find the biggest tent. Being late kind of paid off. The line is completely empty.

"Fiona's tent. I'm a bit nervous." slowly backing up.

"Oh, no you don't" Madison said pushing me closer.

"You've been waiting for this and besides I'll be with you the whole time."

I sigh and slowly walk in the dark tent. Inside there's small jeweled rugs that surrounds a crystal ball in the center. The woman across from us stands from where she was sitting.

"Ah, Heler I was wondering if you were even going to come" she smiled warmly.

"Come in, sit. Should we get started."

I took a deep breath and grabbed Maddie's hand. She looked at me and mouthed "it's going to be fine."

The room sparkles a bright white until the light was so bright I couldn't see a thing. The scenery of the room changed. On the left of me the wall says current year 2016 and on the right year it says fortune is told 2025. Shortly after I slowly doze off.
