~ Fiona's POV

Sitting in my chair; overlooking the files on my desk in front of me. I've rechecked the contents several times. Just to make sure that everything is there. Looking at the time, I realize I almost forgot to take my pill. I have to take it at the same time everyday, or else I'll suffer severe side effects. I rush around my desk and head to the bathroom in my office. Opening the mirror cabinet by simply stating,

"Open."

I grab the red container that holds my precious pills. The pills sliding down my throat, I relax looking at my reflection. I scrutinize every detail on my face, and for a second. I see her. I see the resemblance. I see, the lovely woman, my mother. Touching my face gently running over my round, and pointy nose that my mother also had.

Mother... I miss you. Why didn't you tell me you were in danger.?

Looking at my face; I feel the anger build in my body. The anger took over all the sadness I used to feel. Without thinking I punch the mirror. Shattering the high tech mirror in the process. Feeling the emotions take over. I dig my hand in the mirror; throwing the glass shards everywhere around the bathroom. Heavily crying, feeling my body grow weak. My body slumps over the sink. My legs going weak. The fresh red blood that no alien contains; pouring from my hands from cutting myself with the glass. Not before too long my body reaches the ground. I push myself under the sink; resting my back against the wall. Hugging my knees and letting the tears pour down my cheeks. I haven't allowed myself to cry since that day, but being reminded of her face.

Her face.

Distracted with my emotions in my own little world; I couldn't help but hear the loud BAM of my office door. Quickly, I get from under the sink and rinse my hands from any sign of blood. Taking a nearby face towel and wiping face to wash away the tears. Checking my face as well as I could in the shattered mirror. I straightened my wrinkled clothes and head out of the bathroom. I make sure to cover the slightly visible cut on hand and I slowly walk to my desk. I find Carolyn and Sabrina sitting at the chairs opposite of my desk. Carolyn rising from her seat with a complicated expression on her face. That even I couldn't understand.

"Boss. Fiona, we have a situation."

I stand with my hands crossed over my chest; waiting for her to continue.

"Some humans has escaped their cells. We've been informed that were three humans have left their cells and could be wandering around. The scienotechs pulled up the three that they think might be the ones who has gone missing." Carolyn says handing a tablet to me.

Taking the tablet out of her hand; I take a look at the names on the screen.

Madison. Dylan. Hayden. wait a minute.

I couldn't put my finger on it, but Dylan feels very familiar. I shook the thought out of my head. Besides, there's no way that's my Dylan. Plus, there's millions of people who name their children, Dylan. He died years ago anyway. I think...

"Okay, ladies I need you to bring me the cell mates who shared their cells. I want to question them so we can get a better description. Did you guys check the cameras?"

"Sabrina, go fetch the humans. And, yes we did check the cameras. However, in the beginning everything was fine and you could see clearly. However, at a certain time this young alien comes inside and all the cameras bug out. It was weird. We are working on fixing them right away." Carolyn explains.
