~ Heler's POV
While Hayden and Dylan continue looking for through the files; Madison and I take a break. We sit on the comfy furniture in the middle of the room. It was still a little weird to be here with Madison. Mainly because she doesn't know me.
"So, Madison what was your family like.?" I ask breaking the ice.
Before Madison answers back she looks up to Hayden. He catches her staring and for a moment they hold eye contact; smiling at each other.
"Oh, uh it's complicated." she says still smiling.
"Your family couldn't be more complicated than mine." I say laughing at the adorable gestures between Hayden and her.
"Yeah, well growing up my sister and I lived in an orphanage. I don't know what happened to my parents or who they are. We just always lived in that orphanage, but then my sister got adopted by this evil couple. I haven't seen her ever since. They came to the orphanage years later informing me of my sisters disappearance. I was devastated", her smile fading away.
"My sister was all I had, so in remembrance of her I worked hard. The whole reason I picked my job was because she loved science. And I remember how excited she would get when our orphanage would take trips. She loved being on airplanes." sighing.
"I'm sorry, Madison. Good news is all humans are here so you'll see her again." I say trying to lighten the mood.
Staring into my eyes,
"Heler, how come you knew my name?" Madison asks with a stern face.
I didn't know what to say. I couldn't possibly tell her that she is actually an alien who is my best friend and this world is just a vision of the future being played by a fortune teller. However, if there's one thing I'm tired of. It's lying. I'm tired of being lied to, so I won't lie. Just as I was about to explain; Hayden quickly interjects.
"I found an envelope with Heler's name on it." he shouts.
I rush over to him. Taking the letter out of his hands. I rip open the paper only to find another hand written letter from my parents. I read it out loud.
"If you're reading this, then you must be in the file room. We wrote this letter to inform you of the file that we hid. We knew when it came closer to the time Fiona would take an important file that is crucial to your mission. We placed the file in the cabinet storage behind the couch in the middle of the room. It is place inside the file labeled ---Animals in Katzaria. We wanted to make sure she wouldn't find it. We know you are ready to read what is in that file. Be strong our precious Heler. We love you."
Dylan goes behind the couch and pulls open the drawer to the cabinet. Looking back at me; he takes a deep breath and grabs the file in a black envelope. He slowly places the file in my hands.
"It's all yours." Dylan says sitting on the couch.
Madison and Hayden sits along with him. I excuse myself to the back of the storage room close to where we came in, and I sit in the small chair. Opening the file, the first page has my parents information.

Hybrid: half human. half alien. They are really powerful creatures. A normal alien is powerful because of their abnormal speed, high quality hearing, sight, and long life span. Even the glowing skin had their advantages but a hybrid is much more advanced. They are very powerful. However their powers aren't developed until their 23rd birthday. On that day the creature acquires wings and their strength is heightened. They can hear anything miles away. When a creature practice and control their powers they can learn to listen to people thoughts, become invisible, move objects with their mind. Though all good things come with a price. Since they are half human the life span isn't as long. Even though they are almost immortal if for some reason they were to kill one of their parents. They lose their powers and die almost instantly.
