~ Hayden's POV

A couple day passes slowly, and I hardly got any sleep. I still can't sleep. With millions of people in one giant building trying to sleep. It tends to make more noise, to little kids crying, adults yelling for different reasons, and just those who simply snore in their sleep. I got unlucky with my partner. I got stuck next to the screaming adult, constantly yelling.

"I have diabetes, I need my medicine" all night long. During the passing days I notice Madison coincidentally across from me. She sleeps during the day, so I have been able to catch her attention yet. Though, I've notice there's less alien, creature guards during the day. That's when they serve us, stuff that looks far from food. The more I see people eat that stuff, the weaker they get. I stir clear from the food. Although, there's more guards at night. This place is huge, and they couldn't possibly be everywhere at the same time. I'm planning on getting out of this building tonight. I'm bringing Madison, and if we can find Dylan then he could be useful.

He seems to know a lot about aliens.

What I've notice these past days is that these aliens indeed have a weakness. There's more guards at night, and less during the day. It should be the other way around. The way they slightly jump while walking past screaming and crying humans. Yes. Their weakness is loud noises. Millions of people in one giant building. Of course during the day when everyone is awake it would be really loud. Almost loud enough that I can't hear my thoughts. They started removing the screaming children and adults, I heard to another building. Madison is sitting with a crying boy, and I am sitting next to a screaming adult. If we keep them up at night and when a guard comes in our aisle, we have both of them be loud as possible that the guards will have to open the cells.

Just to get Madison's attention.

After, several attempts I finally get her attention. She doesn't know what I'm about to do, but she'll catch on soon enough. I told my cell mate what's going on and she agreed to helping us out. Once they open the cell, we're free. I'll make sure of that. Waiting until it gets darker and all you can see is the glow from their skin when a guard passes by. Looking at Madison, then looking at my cell mate.

"Are you ready?" I ask the lady next to me who finally calmed down after I told her my plan. She nods, and it begins. I almost have to cover my ears to block out the sound. The guard walking by jumps, startled by the unexpected noise. They rush over to our cell looking pretty angry. The glow of their skin gets darker. The lady who was screaming quickly hid behind me. I was much bigger than this guy alien. However, I'm just a human and being the strongest soldier in the entire world of Earth doesn't matter here. The first thing I notice is the dark, inhuman eyes these guards have with the giant 'K' tattoo on his hand. He pushes the button and Madison's cell as well as mine opens.

The guard tries to grab the woman behind, but I step in front of him blocking his reach. He glares at me with his black eyes. In the most deep, and raspy voice.

"Move out of my way creature, I was ordered not to hurt you. I will if I have to!" he retorted.

All of the people who were complaining and engulfed in conversations are now paying attention to us. Behind him the little boy sneaks across to me, and while he does that Madison charges towards him. With the little boy in my cell the guard catches on and speeds behind Madison as if he knew what she was doing. In a blink of an eye he's behind Madison. Thinking on my feet, I charge towards Madison. Landing in the cell across from the one I was in. I grab Madison, and push the button locking the guard in the cell. As he's banging on the cell Madison and I start running down the aisle.

"Get back here, right now. Let me out now! You messed with the wrong alien!!" he shouted.

Running as fast as we can.

Hayden!

I go as fast as my feet can carry me.

Hayden!!

I come to a halt hearing my name. Scanning the room, I see Dylan waving his arms. Quickly, run up to him and let him out.

"Don't worry everyone, we will be back to free you all!" we hurry down the aisle, following Dylan because he knows the way out for some reason.

As we get to the next aisle we spot a guard charging after us in full speed.

Just when we were almost free.

Losing all hope, I try to run the other way. Just when I thought we were caught. We were yanked from the side and pulled into a small closet. For what seemed like hours we all stood there in silence. Eventually, I could feel Madison snuggle up in front of me. In the moment I wrap my arms around her and rest my head on her chin to make her feel safe. Madison was the one who ended up breaking the silence.

"Okay, so are we all just going to stand here or what?"

Taking that as a hint, the alien that pulled us in here turned on the light. Noticing her face, it was the was the same alien we first encountered. We all stared at her.

"I'm going to help you guys get out of here." she said.

"Why should we trust you?" Madison scoffed.

   The alien started laughing.

"Haaaahahahaaah! Yep, that's Madison." she mumbled to herself.

"Look, I saved you from the alien that looked like he wanted to rip you to shreds. Anyways, I have my reasons." she said.

Hearing footsteps close by we all got quiet. I held my breath as if they could hear me breathing. The alien made us dress into the suits that were in the closet. They looked exactly like the ones the guards wear. We left the closet after the footsteps got farther away. We followed the alien girl, and tried to stay close as much as we could. Though, Dylan seems to run almost as fast as the alien.

   Weird.

Once we finally got outside, we no longer had to hide because no one questioned us. Some aliens looked suspiciously at us as they passed by but they never said anything. Walking down the long pavement, I spotted a lady that looked all too familiar. I snapped by head back to look at her.

No, that can't be! It's not possible, is it?

I wasn't able to get a good look before I had to catch up with the others.

"I'm taking you guys to a secret place, so we won't have to worry about others. Oh, and I'm Heler by the way."

We continued to follow her until we reached a cave like tunnel. We decided to work out our plans tomorrow. We are going to need all the energy we can get. Especially since I might have seen her. This could change my life

I hope you enjoyed this chapter if you reached the end. I appreciate all support. I say this a lot, but I truly mean it. Who's the mysterious woman Hayden think he saw? However, what about the gesture towards Madison in the closet? Comment what you think. Vote for my book if you want. I look forward to writing this next chapter. Have a great day!
