I was sitting here outside of Hershel's house, father of Maggie, the lady on the horse.
And I was surprise that Glenn followed us here, he's inside with T. Dale said it'll be better if he followed us.
We just arrived here, maybe an hour or two, T-dog got checked by Patricia right now, and she's the wife of Otis, the one who shot Carl. And speaking of Carl, he's getting worse. He's got internal bleeding and we can't operate on him without the equipment that we need.
Shane and Otis should be back by now. They are taking too long. I sigh and rub my hands on my face down to my hair. I get some rubber bond from my pocket and tie my hair up.
And Sophia, I wonder where she is; I hope the others will find her. I just hope. "Dr. Allison?" Beth called me; she's the younger sister of Maggie.
I turn my head and stand up. I was way higher than her. "Uhm. Carl is awake." She said and my eyes widened and run fast inside the house.
I saw Lori and Rick talking to him, I walk slowly and tap Ricks back. I nodded at him.
"You should have seen it." Carl said to her mom. I can feel the joy on his words even his suffering from pain now.
"What?" Lori ask him.
"The deer. It was so pretty, mom." Carl said, I sigh and chuckle at him, he's a strong boy.
"It was so close. I've never been—" Carl stop talking in the middle of his sentence, his eyes are open.
"Carl?" Rick tried to call him.
"What is happening?" Lori looked at me. I run on Carl side but he start to seize.
"No! Don't." I said to Lori as she tries to stop Carl from moving. Sure it was necessary but he's in a danger condition right now.
I help Hershel to move Carl on his side. I stand up and wait for him to stop.
"It's a seizure. If you hold him down, you could hurt him." Hershel explained to them.
"You can't stop it?" Lori ask worriedly.
"Wish we can. He has to just go through it." I told her. After a seconds Carl stop seizing. I rearrange him and open his eyes. I check his pulse. It's faint. They should be here. Damn it. We need to do something right now.
"How is he?" Lori asks while he holds Carl's hand.
Hershel looks at me. I sigh. "His brain isn't getting enough blood --" I started to talk but I can feel a lump on my throat. Damn it. This is why I hate to care about my patient. I curse silently myself.
"His pressure is bottoming. He needs another transfusion." Hershel continued.
"Okay, I'm ready." Rick said as he ready his arm.
"If I take any more out of you your body could shut down. You could go into a coma or cardiac arrest." Hershel explained to him. Rick is pale as he can be now.
"Carl needed you." I said to him. I remember having the same blood type of them at the CDC when Jenner test their blood. A positive.
"Take it from me." I said and I wrap the Elastic bond to my arm. "I have the same blood type. A positive right?"
Rick nodded. I tap my arm and ready myself. I inserted the needle to my vein. "You know I can't do this alone. Need some help Hershel." I told him.
He started to connect another tube to Carl while I pump my hand to give more Carl blood.
"Thank you.." Lori said while she's looking at me. I look at Rick, he nod at me. "Let's hope they'll be back before I can lose blood." I murmured.

After close to an hour of transferring my blood to Carl, Hershel said that I need to take a rest. I walk out and leave Lori and Rick on the room. I was going out when I saw Maggie entering the door. Glass on her hand.
"Hey." She said as she passes me by. I just gave her a weak smile.
I walk out and inhale the fresh air. This is the freshest air I smell since this shit hit the world. I feel someone looking at me and I turn my head to see Glenn sitting on a rocking chair.
I walk and lean myself on the house. "What are you doing here?" I ask him. "Talking to God."
I scoff and shake my head. He looks at me confuse. "You're not believing in God I supposed." He said and I chuckle. "Not really."
"Why is that?" he ask.
I take a second if I should answer his question or not. I sigh.
"When I was a little Mom and I go to church every Sunday, mom taught me how to pray, how to talk to God. I pray every day." I said and smile a little at him.
"My dad was a heavy drinker, he drinks every night. When he got home, he always beat my mom. I can see that every night of my life even my mom always saying in the morning that it is nothing. I knew it. I'm not an idiot. I always talk to God and pray for my dad. But you know...." I stop and shrug.
"I got tired of praying. I got tired of waiting for my dad to change. I just got tired." I told him.
We stay quiet for a minute.
"Uhm.. did you." Glenn started to speak up.
"Did you and Daryl are kind of a thing?" He ask me. My eyes widened and burst out laughing.
"What?" He ask me again confuse. "Me—Daryl? Oh My God Glenn..." I said to him while trying not to laugh.
"That's gonna be the end of the world for every one of us." I told him. "Why'd you ask?" I said smiling at him.
"I just saw the looks he's giving you, the way he cared about you. He never did that to any one of us." He told me. I don't know but my heart feels kind of funny. "I think he likes you." He added.
I just stare at him and don't know what to answer. I chuckle. "You should pray more Glenn." I told him and I get inside.
After I close the door, I think of what Glenn said. What if Daryl likes me? What should I do?
