Chapter 10.

Alec's P.O.V.
I shot another arrow at the Greater Demon. We had finally found where Azazel was hiding. It took us two weeks, and now, here we are, fighting this bastard of a demon. I had started to grow cold after being away from Magnus for so long. I just wanted to be with him again. After this is over, I'm stealing Magnus away, and not bringing him back for a while.
As Jace, Isabelle, and I fought this demon, we gradually grew weaker. It as never fun fighting Greater Demons. After hours upon hours of fighting Azazel, we finally destroyed him. I fell to the ground, and breathed heavily. I was tired of fighting, tired of not being with my boyfriend, tired of almost dying every time I stepped outside my door. I was tired of it all. But I knew I had to keep fighting.
Jace came and sat next to me, Isabelle on the other side, "So," Jace said, "How the hell are we supposed to get home? Considering the only two people we had to make a portal are in New York?"
Isabelle sighed, "We could always find another Warlock. Did Magnus have any friends here Alec?"
I shrugged, my heart wrenching at the sound of Magnus' name, "Catarina said she was vacationing to Australia a few weeks ago. I don't know if she's here right now, it was just recently demon infested. I have no idea of any other Warlock's. Magnus doesn't like to talk about his friends."
Even though Magnus and I agreed once we got back together, we would be more open about things, Magnus still doesn't like to talk about people he knows. I've learned to respect him for it, and ignore the fact that he probably has some friends he doesn't want me around. Magnus and I found an unspoken compromise in that area of our relationship.

"Well," Jace said, "I guess we better start looking. I have a pregnant girlfriend at home," he let out a puff of air.
"How are feeling about that anyway Jace," I asked him. He was my Parabatai, I knew he had to be wrecked.
"I've never been so scared in my life," he answered, "Next thing you know, Simon and Isabelle are going to be having kids. And you and Magnus will adopt," he laughed and I shook my head.
"I don't think Magnus wants kids," I said to him, "Isabelle does, she told me," I said, laughing with she threw a stick at me and her face turning bright red.
"Why don't we just take it easy for the rest of the day," Isabelle stated, "get a few drinks. Some food. We just saved the world. Again."
I looked over at Isabelle, "Okay. But - if we get any drinks, you have to buy me some Wine."
Jace and Isabelle rolled their eyes, "What's with your obsession with wine," my sister asked me.
I shrugged, "I don't know, but we need to check into a hotel," I got up from my spot on the ground. The other's followed and we made our way into town.
