I woke up with groggy eyes and rolled over sleepily to check my phone. I had a voicemail from Alec. I pressed the "listen" button and closed my eyes lightly. His message was enough to bring me to tears. I swallowed hard, and wiped the tears away from my cheeks. We would be together again soon enough. I knew I wouldn't be able to call Alexander back and speak to him without crying.
