Kareena's POV:
"Bye." he said quickly before running out the front door. I contemplated my next move; lock the door and cry under my blankets, or go after him.
He kissed me, right?
Right.
So Samie would have no right to be mad if I told her.
If?
I meant when.
Wow. I'm lying to myself now.
Well it was an amazing kiss....
"MAX!!" I screamed ripping open the door and running to his car, which was already backing out the driveway. I ran to the car waving it down, causing him to stop and roll down his window.
"Look Kareena I'm so sorry. I wasn't thin-" I cut him off by crashing my lips to his. I hesitated when he didn't kiss back, and then pulled away all together.
"Look, we don't know each other that well. And Samie..." he said, staring intently at his steering wheel.
"Oh, well you uh, yeah. Yeah, you're right. I just wanted to be dramatic. I'll see you tonight I guess." I said awkwardly before pulling my head out the car and running back inside. I slammed the door shut, being sure to lock and dead bolt it behind me.
How could I be so stupid?
Max has Samie. Why on earth would he want me when he can get any girl he wants in this world?
Is it possible to hide for the rest of your life? If so would someone please teach me?
If I could I would just avoid him for the rest of my life I would. But now I'm going to see him everyday. Shoot me.
Wait.

I wanna make Max squirm. I'll make him hate life.
Date night.
I sent the idea via text to Legend who agreed quickly.
Now, who do I invite?
Danny.
Danny?
Nooooo, not Danny.
Shit. I'm inviting Danny.
I grabbed my phone and dialed the kid's number.
"Hello?" he answered in his low gravelly voice.
"Hey, it's Kareena." I said quietly, almost a whisper.
"What do you want?" he asked, short and to the point.
"A date. Tonight." I said, twirling my hair in anxiety
"What? Why? Where?" he asked
"A date. To talk. A friend's house. It'll be chill. Just a few of us getting together to watch movies." I said
"What do you want to talk about now?" he sighed
"I don't know. Our baby maybe?" I said, venom injected throughout each word.
"Fine, yeah. I'll go. Text me the details." he said
"Thanks." was all I answered before hitting the 'end' button.

"I'm homeeee!" Legend called, busting through the door. Well, one could assume it was Legend. She was carrying too many bags to see her face.
"Wow. You have money to support this addiction of yours?" I asked grabbing some bags from her.
"Yus I do, thanks." she laughed as we took the stuff to her room.
