"Where is the chef at!?" I shout out walking down the stairs. Today is the Dinner party and everything isn't going how I planned. Pulling out my phone I dial her number.

"Chef Baker where are you?" I yell through the phone.

"I'm sorry I'm late I am on my way I'll be there in about ten minutes" She says.

"Fine" I say hanging up. I run my hands through my freshly washed hair. Walking into the kitchen I grab a bottle of water. 

"Yo baby chill you stressing for no reason everything is going to be cool" August says.

I take a deep breath " I really hope so".

Whenever we host a dinner party or any sort of party in general I like to make sure we have enough food for our guest, the house is decorated beautiful and people leave here happy.

"Relax baby these things always end up great with you planning what can go wrong?" He ask.

"Every damn thing".

"I'm here again I am so sorry that I am late!" Chef Baker exclaims.

"It's fine at least you're here now I'll walk you to the kitchen and show you the list" I say.

"I'll be out back baby playing some ball" August says .

"Okay have fun baby" I say kissing him.

"I was thinking maybe you can make salmon or something like that or lobster ? " I ask Chef Baker.

"Oh perfect I have this beautiful salmon dish with kale salad" She says.

"Sounds great ! What about desserts ?".

"Cake ?".

"No something else maybe some type of cheesecake" I say.

"Alright I promise I will have this done and you will be pleased" She says.

"I know you will ! Thank you so much!" I say smiling.

I go out back I join August. "Want to play some ball baby?" He ask.

"Babe you know how this is going to end" I say laughing.

"Yeah you going to lose" He says laughing.

"Boy please! You about to get that ass beat" I bust out laughing.

"Baby I don't want to hurt your feelings man! " He says.

"Man just check the ball" I say getting in position.

He passes the ball to me I dribble the ball moving to the right I make my shot. "Yes!" I exclaim.

"I am exhausted babe! Shit I need to get to a gym" I say.

"You did good though you almost one but can't beat the pro baby" He says smacking my ass.

"I'm going to go take a shower now this party starts in the next few hours and I need to be prepared by the time guest start arriving.".

"I'll be up in a little while" He says.

"Okay baby" I say then head back inside.
