"August !" I yell out.

I get no answer, I wait a couple second. "Baby! Where are you ?".

"I'm right here baby mybad I was listening to some beats Ej sent , what happen?" He ask.

"Can you rub my back please" I ask with pleading eyes.

"Women you called me down here for a damn back rub" He says.

"Yes, who else am I suppose to call ? All my side piece sleep right now" I say laughing. August stale faces me. "Cant take a joke big head but for real massage my back baby".

"Fine you lucky you cute man" He says laughing.

"That's always a plus, grab the lotion babe" I say.

"Baby you pushing it now, I'm trying to work a little bit" August says.

"Baby stop you said coming back from the tour we needed a break" I say.

"I will baby but I'm just so focused all these money signs need to go to our damn back account".

"I guess August, go make your money" I say getting out of bed.

"Don't be mad baby girl I'll make it up to you soon as I get back" He says pulling me towards him.

"Whatever you say".

A few minutes later August leaves then there's a knock at the door. Checking the security camera I can't see the person face. "Hi may I help you?" I say into the intercom.

"Girl stop with all this and open the door it's Elise".

I run to the door and open. "Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you in forever where the hell have you been?" I ask her.

"You know I been working and what not stuff was hectic out in Texas, but I got my shit together and I got a new job a few months back" Elise says.

"Why didn't you call me back I could've helped you !" I say.

"I know I should've called you back but I wanted to do this on my own... I know I can rely on you. Where young Aug?".

"At the damn studio, he just got back from tour and that's what he goes to do" I say.

"Well lets go get drinks then show me around or something I am single and ready to mingle heard the guy out here packing" Elise says laughing.

"Shit I wouldn't know" I say laughing.

"Well I'll find out tonight" Elise says.

"How long are you in town for ?".

"Four days I staying with you guys for two days then I got some business to handle down in Savannah" Elise says.

"Awesome , come on let got get these drinks I need this".

"What's going on with you and August?" She ask

"We doing better we had a little bump in the rode it was a rough path but we're in a better place and communicating more" I say.

"You guys are goals like really , every couples has these type of issues but some people give up so quickly and you two still together it's beautiful thing" Elise says.

"It is" I say smiling.

Pulling up to Seven Lamps. I haven't had a day out with a friend in so long. I'm always worried about August and his career even when we aren't at work.

"Girl come on I can hear the drinks calling me name!" Elise says.

"Hello ladies table for two?" The waitress ask.

"Yes please" Elise says.

"Let me text August and let him know I'm out" I say pulling out my phone.

"Girl let him wonder that'll teach his ass to stay home" Elise says laughing.

"Can I start you ladies off with drinks?" The waitress ask.

"I'll take a mimosa please" I say.

"Make that two.".

"August will be calling me non stop if I don't plus I'm sure he'll be happy to see you once he's done at the studio" I say.

"I guess girl, I hope he is good to you as you are to him" Elise says.

"He is Elise, trust me that man makes me happy and I'm positive that he being a loyal faithful man out there... why go out there and cheat when you have all this". I say laughing.

"Yes girl exactly !".

"But on the real I've never once thought about cheating on him and I'm sure he hasn't either" I say.

"I'll fight him if he does ! Girl I got yo back" Elise says laughing.

"I know you do girly" I say laughing.

The waitress comes back wth our drinks. We order our food and just start talking about the old days in high school. Back then I kept to myself didn't really talk to too many people. But because of Elise I just happen to know all these people.

My phone starts ringing.

"Hello?" I say through the phone.

"What's up baby ? Who you with over there?" August questions.

"Elise" I say.

"Word she in town? I'm almost done at the stu I'll pull up in a little bit" He says.

"Cool I'll let her know" I say.

"Alright baby girl I love you" He says.

"I love you too August" I say with a smile on my face.

"You over there giggling like a damn school girl " Elise says causing me to laugh.

"He makes me feel like a damn school girl, we need to find you a man now" I say laughing.

"I don't need one right now they will only cause drama and I got goal I am trying to reach, once I feel like I've achieved my goals or at least half way there I'll probably take the time to get to know somebody" Elise says.

"I hear you on that but it's okay to date here and there just don't be too focus on work and let life pass you by.".

"Thanks Ari you know I got this" She says.

"Of course boo you know I got you.".

The rest of the night goes amazing. August comes by Elsie was so happy to see him we had a blast like old times. I hope these times never end between us.
