"So what was it like making the new record?" The DJ asks. "It was really fun making I'm Ready. Everything just flowed." I say into the mic. "Yeah man we really connected well over the song and personally. Jas is one of my closest friends."

"How close we talking? Some fans already have pages up shipping you two." I laugh, "It's not like that. We're just friends. I respect Arielle and their marriage." I respond. "As Jas said, I'm a happily married man. Been married going on five years now."

"How is it being married young?" The DJ asks. "It's just the same as if you were old and married. We go through shit but at the end of the day she's my rock and I wouldn't be where I am without her."

"So how is it with her being your manager and your wife?"

"Work can overtake our personal lives sometimes but it's just about finding the balance and work."

"Alright, alright, so Jas." The DJ says.

"What good?"

"You got anybody special?"

"Nah I'm chilling right now."

"So you're on the market?" He asks.

"Yeah some like that."

"So what you looking for in a guy?"

"Hm... someone who understands the grind, funny, cute, ambitious, who can push me further than I push myself. Honest. Just a say a few."

"All of that you just said what's the most important?"

"Honesty, I hate liars."

"Same here. Here's Jasmine's new single featuring August Alsina- I'm Ready. Let's get it."

We go off air and I take my headphones off. "That went well." Arielle says walking inside. "It did. It's so nice to finally meet you Jasmine." DJ Rock says. "It was nice to finally meet you to. I wake up listening to you."

"Thank you for tuning in. Maybe we could exchange numbers so you could text in your requests." I laugh, "That was cute. If you want my number though, all you have to do is ask."

"You calling me out huh?" He laughs. "Yeaa just a bit." I grab his phone and put my number in. "I could see you two. Y'all cute." Arielle says laughing. I laugh and glance over at August. Is that mug a sense of disapproval? "I'll call you." Rock says.

"Cool. I'll be waiting."

"Baby you ready?" August asks Arielle. "Almost. So Jas I booked a shoot for you and August to do for the tour for merchandise, promo, posters, etc."

"It's the both of us together?"

"Yes. We opted for separate because we know this is your first tour but your label and ours wants the two of you together."

"Alright."

"Cool. I'll send you the details."

"Okay."

I walk inside my aunt Vi house with bags. I decided to go do some shopping. "Aunt Vi."

"In the room Jasmine."

I walk inside the room. "I got you something."

"Oh really what?"

"A dress and a bag."

She grabs the bag. "This is nice Jas. Thank you."

"Your welcome. Where's Cato and Rico?"

"Out, ain't no telling where they are. Jerrod is in his room sleep."
