Chapter 12 - Second Chance for Max

I don't know if it's a good thing or bad after Max said that Alex and Angel walked in. I looked at them walking , Angel hugged me and Alex just greeted me.

"How are you doing man?" Alex asked

"Quite better I guess" Max answered

"Don't be a jelly Max , we all want your annoying words back" Angel said and Alex gave her a thumbs up.

"I won't a jelly again Angel" Max said and rolled his eyes

"Ohh! I brought clothes for you , I know you're staying here so in case you need to take a shower" Angel said as she gave me a black paper bag. I smiled

"Thanks girl , you're a real Angel"

"Of course she is"

"Shut it Alex" She shut Alex down and she looked at him. Alex hissed and Angel just gave him a deep kiss.

"I'll go take a shower first" I said and walked to the bathroom. Taking a long cold shower and think about what Max just said

I like you Rose.. more than you think and more than you feel towards me

I don't know whether to be happy or not with his statement. He always gets me confuse , after taking a quick shower. I walked out and Angel dragged me out

"What? Why are you dragging me out?"

"Alex gave him a man to man speech" Angel said excitedly

"Why should we go out?"

"Trust me babe you don't want to hear what Alex want to say" She shook her head

"Heyhey why are so sad?"

"What?"

"Your expression says it all" She said and I sighed.

"Everything is just complicated , all I want is for him to let me go" We both sit on the small bench outside

"Rose.. you can't say that to him. Seeing the way he look at you , he won't even let you go. Whether you like it or not. He can't live without you Rose , do you even know that he planned something on the day of your marriage?" She asked and my eyes widen

"What? He plan what?"

"Since you ran away , he was happy. You didn't get married , he already plan to kidnap you. Alex joined and he told me that the plan was no longer work because you went away"

"He planned that?"

"He planned himself but he ask Alex for help and Alex gladly help him. He's his bud" Angel smiled

"He loves you , he hasn't got the memo yet and just wait Rose or teach him a lesson. Let's party , how's that sound?" She smirked and I chuckled

"Are an Angel or a Devil?"

"Rose I'm not innocent , sometimes I even race without Alex knowing" She said and my eyes widen

"It's dangerous Angel"

"I still love the thrill of it and I'll stop if I carry baby North" She smiled and I nodded chuckling

"Anyway.. just teach him a lesson Rose. You can see how much you mean to him. He just afraid.. Alex told me about his background , it's almost the same as Alex's but Max got more broken by that fact. He's afraid , just like Alex at first" She hold my hand and gave me a warm smile

"Thankyou Angel.. I'll try"

"Let's go inside , I think they're finish" She pulled me and we walked in again. Alex turned to us and looked at his wife with a really loving eyes.

The most dumbest person in the world even can see that this man is so in love with her. I'm jealous

"Ready to go babe?" Alex asked

"Uh?" Angel looked at him confuse

"You forgot didn't you?" Alex chuckled and went to his wife

"What? Forgot about what?" She asked

"You have a meeting with Luisa and meet your parents after that. Remember?"

"Oh yeah! Clumsy me.. let's go" Angel said as she took her bag from the table. She hugged me and hugged Max briefly , goodbyes from them and they walked out.

"Come here" Max gestured me and I looked at him

"Rose , come here" He said in a calm tone , I find myself walking to him. He hold my hand and pulled me to his lap. My eyes widen. As I try to get up , he hold me really tightly. He just lean his head to my shoulder

"I promise I'll make you happy from now on" He said

"Be my girlfriend?" My eyes widen and my body froze as hearing he said that. He looked up to me and gave me a peck on my lips

"Rose.. be my girlfriend?" I just crashed my lips to his , kissing him like there's no tomorrow. Circling my arms around his neck and just loving everysingle second of it. We stopped and just look at each other

"Let's move on from the past and start a new chapter , how about that?" He asked and I find myself smiling. I nodded and he crashed his lips to mine again.

"I'm Maximillion Cesantio , what's your name sexy?"

"Rose Hastington" I chuckled and gave him a kiss on his cheek

"I'll heal fast so we can go on a date , how about that?" He asked and I was drown by his blue eyes

"Okay"

"I'll buy you a lot of cheesecake ice cream" I smiled as he said about my favorite ice cream

"Okay"

"Thankyou for that earlier" He pointed at the sandwich and I nodded.

"Just doing my job"

"You're making me crazy" He buried his face to my shoulder again and I smiled

"Good! Cause I'm the only one who can make you like this"

"What did you do to me?" He whispered and I smiled
