"Hey sis" I turned to see Luke entering the dining room
"Hey" I hugged him briefly and smiled , I miss them. We talked at the dining room for awhile until it's time for me to get ready for tonight. I walked up to my room and quickly take a shower.
After taking a shower , I quickly dry hair and move on to make up. Curl my hair into big curls and bun the upper half. I looked myself to the mirror to check if something is missing or I need to add.

My mom bought me this dress , a dark blue halter nexk dress. It's beatiful and elegant , I wear it and walked to my shoes cupboard to find my nude highheels.
Suddenly someone knocked at the door and told them to come inside.
"Hey" I looked at the door and find Luke standing here
"Hey just come in" I said and he walked inside , he looked at me and smiled
"You look good" He said and I smiled
"You're not bad" I said and he rolled my eyes
"So what's up?"
"Max is gonna be there" I stopped as I put my bracelete
"How's your relationship with him?" I asked as I put on my earing trying to not care but hearing his name already makes my heart beating fast
"I don't talk to him" I turned to him disbelief
"Are you serious?"
"He might be my bestfriend but blood is more thicker" He said and I smiled
"He hurt you.. so many times , I'm proud of you when you decided to move on" I looked at the mirror again and sighed
"Alex said he change"
"He does but I still don't trust him"
"Just go back to usual Luke , it's between me and him so you don't need to have cold war with him" I said and he shook his head
"We have to give him a lesson Rose , don't be too kind"
"Luke.. I'll be the one who teach him the lesson so you both stop fighting" I said and he sighed
"He hurt you so much Rose"
"I know.. just ignore him"
"I know he's trying to take you back" I looked at him and I nodded
"Are you going to give him a chance?" I seriously don't know how to answer that because a big part of me doesn't want to give him a chance but my little heart want to give him. But.. just.. I don't know
"No.. for now" I said honestly and he nodded
"Let's go" He said and walked to the door. I followed him and we walked out together , going downstairs and the fact that my parents already go first so I have to go with Luke and his not chill driving skill. I have to deal with that
We go there and as I arrived there , I've got a message from Janet that she's on her way. I'm excited to see my friends. I walked inside and felt the cold aircon hitting my face and body. Luke offer his hand and I hold to him and walked to my parents. One by one people start to come
"Rose!" I suddenly was hug by Janet
"Hey" I squaled and hugged her back tightly , I hugged Sky briefly
"So how are you doing?" She asked
"I'm good" I smiled
Suddenly the party start , the waiter start to bring champange and wine around. I took the champange and so is Janet.
"Hey" I jumped as I felt someone hold my arm , I looked beside me and saw Austin smiling cheekly
"You scare me asshole" I glared
"There there don't need to be mad fiance" He said that and I narrowed my eyes and he gave me an eye 'just act along'
"You know I don't like when you scare me" I smiled sweetly and he suddenly intertwine his hands with mine. He pulled me away far from my friends and everyone
"What is it?"
"Wow you should thank me because Max almost went to you" He smirked and I looked at him disbelief
"What?"
"Max is eyeing you from a distance and when I saw he walked towards you.. I quickly get you.. you should thank me"
"Whatever Austin.. so what's with you and Violet?" I asked
"Secret babe" He whispered to my ear and I shook my head
"Rose" I froze.. my body immediately froze , I felt Austin's hand on my shoulder and securing me near.
"Hello Max" Austin greeted and I looked at Max
"Portwalt" Max greeted back but coldly , his eyes land on Austin's hand that rest on my shoulder
"Can I talk to Rose for awhile?"
"You mean my fiance? Sorry dude"
"Just for awhile" Max Cesantio begged Austin everyone.. Austin looked at me and I shook my head
"She doesn't want to" Austin said to Max and I just don't want to look at him
"Let's just go to my parents" I take Austin hand and intertwine with his hand. I pulled Austin away from there
"Do you look at his face?" Austin asked and I looked at him weirdly
"What? Do I look like I care?" I bursted
"You still care Rose , it's all written on your face" Austin shook his head and I smacked his arm
"I'm not"
"You ran away from our marriage Rose.. I mean yeah.. I already predict that but yeah"
"You already know that I will run away?" I asked him disbelief
"I know you will do something , you don't like me Rose" This guy is unbelievable
"So why do you need Violet's contact so much?"
"It's a secret beautiful"
"She just broke up with her long term boyfriend , don't even think about hitting on her just now" I warned and he smirked
"Chill Rose" He chuckled and I glared at him. Suddenly because of the coldness , I want to go to the toilet. I drank so much water at home and now my bladder is just wow. I told Austin that I'll be going to the toilet , he nodded and I walked away.
I go to the toilet and rub my hands together because it's so cold. I walked out from the toilet and walked back to the ballroom.
Suddenly someone put a blazer on me and I turned around
"You're cold , wear it" He said and I quickly take off his blazer off me pushing it back to him
"I don't need it"
"You're cold , your lips is dry" He put it back on me and again I pushed it towards him again
"I'm sorry Rose" I looked up to him
"Don't appear in front of my eyes again" I said coldly and turn around but he backhug me.
