"How many times do you want to break my heart? Until I die?" I asked coldly and pushed him away from me
"I'm sorry , I- I know I act stupid selfish and everything but I promise you Rose. I've change.. I-"
"So? You've change? I don't care!" I glared at him and he just looked into my eyes
"I love you Rose.. you know that" I scoffed hearing his statement , I know that he loves me?
"Yeah love me but sleeping around with tons of woman.. what kind of bullshit you want to say now Max?"
"I-" He sighed and I know I'm right
"I'm still immature"
"Yeah you are" I said sarcasticly
"Rose let's start from the beginning okay? Open a new chapter and-"
"No.. you're just wasting your time begging for a chance to me. Just go and let's be strangers"
"You know I can't do that"
"I don't care about your feelings asshole" I said coldly , colder than ice
"I will get you again Rose"
"I said you just waste-"
"You're meaningful to me and I will never give up Rose" He stated and I swear I got a headache
"Goodbye Max" I turned around and walked away , walking inside to the ballroom again and suddenly saw Angel and Alex. They're here?
I walked to them and poke Angel first. She turned and squealed , I hugged her
"Hey princess" I greeted
"Hey!" She said squealing
"I met Alex this morning" I said and she nodded
"We just landed from Miami" She said and I smiled
"You must be tired.. why do you come here?" I asked
"I miss you silly!" She said
"I even told her that but she just want to see you.. she misses eveyone" Alex said and I smiled to him
"Hey" I saw Max greeted Alex and Alex looked at us awkwardly so is Angel
"Let's have a drink" Angel pulled me away from them both
"I hate him" I mumbled and she looked at me with a sad eyes
"He's an asshole.. I suggest you to move on" Angel said and I nodded
"I'm tired but before I walked in and found you. I talked to him a bit and he said he won't give up on me. I swear I want to kill him" I hissed and she smiled , I looked at her weirdly
"You still love him , don't you?" She asked and I shook my head
"You still do.. look I know he's an asshole but he just change these days.. I don't know if we can trust that or not"
"Change what? He still the same" I rolled my eyes
"He never sleep with girls anymore , he fix his attitude and he even cried"
"That doesn't make my heart decide to forgive him Angel" I looked at her disbelief and she smiled
"I'm not asking you to forgive him girly but just watch out because he might get you back"
"And tell me Angel why do you say that?"
"He and Alex are close , Alex told me everything. He will do everything to get you again" I shook my head and sighed
"Why is he so difficult?" I hissed
"Babe" Suddenly Austin called me and I looked at him weirdly so is Angel. Angel looked at him in horror and at the same time Alex when to Angel. Holding her waist possessively
"North" Austin greeted
"Portwalt" Alex just gave him a little smile
"Let's eat babe , I'm starving" He pulled me away before I even can say it to Alex and Angel. We walked to our table and the waiter and waitress start putting our food in front of us. We eat slowly when suddenly there's an announcement
"Mr. Cesantio here is wanting to entertain us by singing a song while playing a piano" I choked on my food , everyone is looking at me awkwardly. Austin patted my back and I saw Max heading to the small stage at the left side of the ball room
"Good evening everyone , Happybirthday to Mr. Hastington. I hope you stay healthy and keep strong with the hotel chain" Max smiled to my dad and my dad gestured him a thumbs up.
My parents doesn't like the idea of Max keep breaking my heart but they love him as his own child. Basicly all the Gold Lifes not just Max , my parents know about their backgrounds and everything so yeah..
"I want to sing a slow song to entertain ladies and gentlemen here while having a great meal" Max said and I just can't take my eyes of him. He turned to me and he smiled. I gulped and turned away
"If you're not the one by Daniel Bedingfield" He said and my eyes widen. Why does he have to sing my favorite song here? Why is he doing everything like his now?
I looked at Austin who already looking at me worried and I just smile a little. I turned to Max and his eyes already on me when he sings , I tried to look away but I can't.
Can you just stop Max.. stop everything you do and stop doing things like this..
Everyone who sat on the same table as mine looked at me awkwardly. I saw my parents looked at me , oh how I want to hide my face right now. Suddenly Austin hold my hand and giving me a smile.
"You okay?" Austin asked
"No" I answered honestly
"Do you want me to take you home?"
"I can't this is my dad's birthday" I shook my head and he nodded understand. I turned to Max again and he still lock his eyes to me while playing the piano.
As he finish , people are clapping and giving him compliment. I just looked at my food awkwardly and I just lost my appetite
"Hey" Hearing his voice behind me makes me froze more
"Can you just go away?" I asked coldly not bothering to look at him
"Ro-"
"Just go Max , she doesn't want to talk with you" Austin said it for me
"Okay fine.. I'll see you soon Rose. I love you"
