" Angel, if you don't want to tell me then its ok "
I knew he didn't mean it. We've known each other for 15 years. I know when he's lying. I looked at him and I saw worry written all over. I sighed. The tears started to pour once again.
" Kadeem . . . He raped me. " I sobbed.
I could feel him shaking. Not because he was crying,because he was angry. When Kadeem was angry he could kill anything. Anyone.
" HE WHAT ?! " He bellowed.
" He raped me . He's been raping me saince I was 13 "
" I'm going to kill that b*stard ! " He yelled.
He attempted to open the door but I slammed it again.
" Kadeem . . . don't " I pleaded
He's stared into my eyes, and I could feel him getting less angry.
" Why Ang, he hurt you. He's been hurting you for years. Why didn't you say something? "
I couldn't look at him any longer. He was making me feel guilty. The pain in my chest wasn't making anything better.
" I c-c-couldnt. I couldn't ruin things for everyone. They were all so happy. "
He lifted my head, and I was staring into his eyes. I tried to look away but he wouldn't let me.
" Angel, you were willing to suffer for your family to remain a family. I don't think I have met anyone as caring as you. But you need to tell them. Before things get any worse " he said.
I couldn't take it anymore. I burst into another round of tears. Kadeem sat me on my bed, and held me close to his chest; allowing me to let the tears out.
" Kadeem? " I sobbed
" Hmm? "
" Don't say anything to anyone "
" Angel, I do- " he began.
" Promise me Kadeem. I will tell them when I'm ready " I told him
" On one condition "
"Which iss? " I asked.
" You give Jace a chance " he said smiling like some next F.O.B
" A chance for what? "
" Angel, you don't really know him, and your already hating on him " he told me.
I was actually shocked. I wasn't hating on Jace.
" I'm not hating on him Kadeem. "
" Oh really? The first day he came, and called you Angel by accident. You shouted at him. He didn't know he couldn't call you that. When I was telling him about everyone, I called you Angel that's why "
" Whatever " I said stubbornly.
I felt my phone vibrating on the bed,and saw a text from Jay Sean.
It said:
Yoo seniorita, quick question. Do you think worms have legs? Cause if they don't, how would they move ahliee? Bri was tryna lie, and tell me they don't. Stupid b*tch. Get back ASAP

After I finished reading it, I burst out laughing. This boy is truly something special. I glanced over at Kadeem giving me strange looks, so I showed him the text. Seconds later he joined me.
That's how I spent my night, with Kadeem creasing at Jay Sean's text. Maybe things could get better.
