I woke up the next day with a pounding headache. Heartache. And so many aches that I've never heard of in my life. I glanced over at Natasha and Bri, sleeping peacefully. For the first time since yesterday they were actually quiet. Shocker. But you know the funny thing? I'm happy me and Kadeem went through what we did yesterday.
If we didn't I would have been confused. For years, maybe months. I would have been scared. I wouldn't have known weather to do something, or stay silent But was it really worth it? Loosing a friend, and then me finding out my feeling for him? I carefully got of my bed, and went into the shower. After doing my normal business I walked out to find both of them raiding my wardrobe.
" Erm, guys ? "
" Oh hey, we didn't want to wait so we showered in the other bathrooms " Bri said.
" And know we're looking for clothes " Natasha said jumping and smiling like a little child.
I burst out laughing. A real laugh. Man, I still can't believe I never thought of these two as my best friends. Moments later they joined in, and we had a laughing fit.
" Yo, erm we have 20 minutes to get to school guys " Bri said standing up.
I looked at the clock and realised she was right. We all quickly got dressed and ran down the stairs and grabbed a slice of toast each. Then we ran to school. Like literally ran. We looked mad. Imagine three girls dressed identically in black jeans, black doc martins,red polo shirts, and red accessories with toast in their mouth, running like some man eating dogs were chasing them. Except I was wearing red, Bri blue, and Tasha wearing white.

We walked into school with our arms linked bussing jokes. We walked past a group of boys, and they were HOOT !! Like really hot. And guess what? Natasha fainted. Like literally fainted. Me and Bri had to style it out and drag her over to the boys. When Jay Sean saw us he burst out laughing.
" Woow, lemme guess. She saw my beautiful face from a distance and fainted cause I'm so good looking? " He said still laughing
" Your so funny " me and Bri said in unison, giving him a hug.
Suddenly Natasha rose up from the bench we had previously placed her on screaming.
" O M G ! Did you see those boys? They were soo f*cking H O O O T !! " She exclaimed.
What the hell? Is she serious. I glanced at everyone's else wondering if they thought the same thing. From their facial expression, they did. I looked over at Jace and saw him looking at me, I flashed him a smile and he just looked away. I sighed. I walked over closer to him so only he could hear me.
" Jace can I talk to you privately please? " I asked quietly.
" Yeah whatever " he simply answered, shrugging his shoulders.
When we were far away from everyone- so they couldn't hear us - we stopped.
" Look, I'm really sorry for everything. Ever since you got hear I've been so horrible to you for no reason in particular. I'm so sorry for everything. I understand why you don't even want to talk to me. I know you hate me , but I just wanted to apologise " I said starring at the floor.
I felt his finger lifting up my chin.
" I never hated you, and I don't know. I just didn't understand why you were so mean to me, but at least you apologised " he said before enveloping me into a hug.
And I hugged him back. It felt . . . nice? I was happy he wasn't angry at me anymore. We started walking to form since the bell had already rung.
" Angie were i- "
" Don't call me Angie please ? " I asked cutting him of.
" Ok . . . Lanie were is your family? Your like the only one coming to school." He said.
" Yeah they all went somewhere, I don't know were though. And Lanie? Seriously? " I asked
" Yupp, Lanie " he said smiling as we walked into form, with his arm over my shoulder.
And should I mention we were ON TIME. I have never been early to form before, even Mrs Gabbs was shocked. Me and Jace walked over to the table, and everyone was giving me weird looks. Except Kadeem who wasn't even looking at me. He was just typing away on his blackberry.
" What? " I asked sitting between Bri and Natasha.
" Bri do you remember me saying to her, she would become friends with the new kid " Tasha said smirking.
" Yeah, and she said and I quote, I don't care about the new kid " Bri replied.
Then everyone started laughing.
" So you had it all planned out from the start? " Jace asked glaring playful daggers
The bell rang before I could answer. I got my things together and headed out. I could still faintly here them laughing in the background. I turned the corner and nearly bumped into Tia and Renai. Great. Just when I thought my day would be ok.
" Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in " Renai said smirking along side Tia.
I tried to ignore them and walk past, but they blocked my way.
" We're talking to you b*tch " Tia snapped.
" Nah Tee, she's more like the ugly duckling " Renai said.
" Hmm, your absolutely right Renny " Tia replied screwing me.
" We hear, you and Jace are getting close. Am I right? " Renai asked
" None of your f*cking business " I replied.
" Language 'Angel' " Tia sneered
They both pushed me up against the wall abruptly, causing an intense pain to seep through my body.
" If I was you, I would stay away from him. His mine. ONLY mine. " Tia snapped, before they both walked away.
Wow. My day just changed from ok to disappointing in less than an hour. I walked to my english class just before the bell went.
" Yo babe, you alright? " Jay Sean asked
" Yeah, why wouldn't I be " I asked flashing a quick smile
" We didn't see you when we got her. You aint the late type. What took you so long? " He asked.
" I had things to do quickly " I replied
" Like ? " He asked.
" Raah Jay shut the hell up! If she wanted to tell you she would " Natasha exclaimed.
" Awww, you jealous Tasha babe. Jealous I aint giving you no attention? " Jay Sean teased.
" Yeah right " she mumbled looking away.
I turned around and started concentrating on the lesson. I couldn't help but feel eyes staring at me. I glanced round and noticed Kadeem looking at me with a blank expression. Today was going to be a long day. I groaned, before resting my head on my desk.
That's how my entire week was. Feeling more and more depressed. Going to school. Trying to keep my distance with Jace. Talking with Bri and Tasha more. Facing Tia and Renai. 'Trying' to avoid Kadeems stares. Emphasis on trying. My entire routine was the same even on sunday and saturday.
That was until Monday. I week since I told to keep away from Jace.
