3rd Person.
"Thank you again for doing this," Scott spoke as he watched Lydia adjust the top on Adriana. Liam, Scott, Adriana, Isaac and Lydia all stood crowded in an empty classroom as they prepared a plan. "If any of us did it they'd smell werewolf," Scott explained.
"Won't she smell of Liam though?" Lydia asked, missing the blushing of Adriana and Liam.
"That's the point, Lyds," Isaac clapped his hands down on Lydia's shoulders for emphasis as he spoke. "Brett is going to get macho jelly that Adriana smells like Liam and then he's gonna come looking for him," Isaac explained.
"I don't see why Lydia can't do it," Liam muttered in annoyance as he glared over the outfit Adriana was wearing.
They had specifically chosen something that was revealing in all the wrong places according to Liam but Adriana had said that she wanted to help out the pack and who was he to deny her of any happiness she would get from helping out? Certainly not a supportive boyfriend.
Yes- boyfriend.
They had decided to make if official after Liam caught Greenberg making moves on Adriana more than once and had 'accidentally' hit him in the face with the lacrosse ball at full force, breaking poor Greenberg's nose.
"Because Lydia doesn't smell like Liam." Lydia spoke in the third person, getting a nod from Isaac. "Plus - she's Brett's ex and I don't think they ended things on good terms so whats better than her going up and talking to him trying to be friends again and smelling of you?" Lydia asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Reeks of you actually - what have you two being doing?" Scott muttered causing another blush to appear on the younger teenager's cheeks.
"Oh my God! Did you two-"
"Shut up Isaac," Liam shut down the older boy with a sharp glare as he knew the topic made Adriana feel uncomfortable.. and they fact that they hadn't done anything like that as they both knew Adriana wasn't ready for that.
"Oh!" Scott gasped, ducking his head back from the door's window before turning to the others and pointing to the door in a suggestion that he had seen Brett.
Devenford Prep's lacrosse team had come to Beacon Hills because their lacrosse field had mysteriously flooded and Beacon Hills High was kind enough to offer to let them practice lacrosse with them.
Adriana huffed out and began to leave when her arm was gripped. "Might as well make it stronger," Liam muttered before pressing his lips against Adriana's and letting his hands rest on her hips. Isaac, Lydia and Scott all looked away quickly, feeling weird for watching two underage students kiss.
Adriana smiled at Liam's over protectiveness and his puppy-like expression before pulling her lips back from his. "See you soon," Adriana pecked Liam's lips once more before exiting the classroom leaving Liam to sigh out as the three others turned back to him.
"Don't worry about it, bro. She likes you not Brett." Isaac threw his arm around Liam after smelling his anxiety.
"Yeah, she's totally into you." Lydia confirmed and Scott nodded with a smile, patting Liam's shoulder before turning back to the door and peeking out of the window to watch Adriana's acting skills.
Adriana let out a sigh as she adjusted the black crop top and made her way towards her locker. She had on a high-waisted grey skater skirt and black high heels along with her crop top. Since she began dating Liam her outfits had gotten more teen-friendly and this was a change from her regular routine.
She spotted Brett talking to someone from his school standing near her locker and smiled a little before ducking her head and walking to her locker. She unlocked her locker and pretended to search for a jotter when she heard; "Yo, bro, isn't that your ex-girlfriend? She's hot!"
Brett turned at his friend's words and didn't even attempt to hide his frown as his eyes landed on Adriana who looked like she hadn't even noticed him standing there - which she had. He excused himself from his friend and walked towards his ex.
Adriana watched him walk towards her from the corner of her eye and smirked casually before shutting her locker and accidentally walking straight into Brett. "Oh! Sorry!" She exclaimed before looking up and faking a frown. "Oh... Uh hey, Brett," She smiled weakly at Brett, gripping at her notebook.
"Hi Adriana." He smiled back, still towering over her despite her heels.
"I.. Uh," She murmured, trying to fake being uncomfortable. "It's been.. uh.. great? Catching up with you again but I gotta go to my cl-" She began to walk around Brett but was quickly pulled back by a strong grip on her forearm.
She let her eyes travel up to see the look on Brett's face. "I'm sorry about how I acted around Liam. I should have known that you weren't the type of girl to do that.." Brett spoke, dropping her arm from his grip when he noticed her uncomfortable look.
"It's... It's really not me you should be apologising to right now but I do appreciate the gesture." She nodded slightly and Brett smiled weakly at her words.
"Can you.. please just forgive me? I don't care if you don't ever want to be with me again or even want to see me.. I just," He ran his hand over his face in annoyance, "I really fucked up and I know that. I need to know that you are not mad.. please?" He begged with puppy dog eyes and Adriana silently cursed at his look.
"... I can't promise that I'd want you to be a regular figure in my life but I am willing to forgive you if you apologise to Liam for hurting him," Brett smiled brightly at her words and leaned down, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
"I will.. I promise! I-" He cut himself off and pulled away slowly as the intense smell of Liam invaded his nose. "You.. are you.." He stumbled over his words. "Are you and Liam.. together?"
Adriana let a blush grow onto her face as she scratched up her arm awkwardly. "I mean.. I guess? He asked me out and he was there for me when I was in a bad place," She shrugged and smiled internally as she watched Brett scowl.
"I'm gonna find him." He growled and Adriana panicked for her boyfriend.. ah, boyfriend. "To apologise I mean." Brett added as he heart Adriana's heart jump.
"Oh, okay." She shook her head. "I'll see you around?" She asked with a raised eyebrow and Brett nodded with a smile. "Text me sometime, you've still got my number, right?" She asked and he nodded again, distracted by his thoughts of Liam and Adriana.. together. "Alright Brett.. bye,"
She waved once to him and began to walk away, giving a smile and wave at Brett's friend who was previously watching Brett and Adriana converse along with another two Devenfor Prep students.
The blond one of the three smiled brightly back and waved his hand excitedly at her before the original guy Brett was talking to hit his shoulder and he lowered his hand. Adriana made her way to her Math class, giving a quick nod to Stiles as she passed him.
Brett let his claws grow as he dug them into his palms trying to get rid of the rage he was feeling towards the shorter boy. How could Liam do that? Break the Bro Code? I mean.. they weren't really bros but still!
Brett decided that he would go to the changing rooms and check around them for a while as he knew that Liam was on the lacrosse team and he would be getting changed there. He waved back to his friends before storming off, not realising how pissy he looked.
"Damn, look at him go." Lydia whispered as she and Scott peered out of the small window in the door. Isaac squished up beside the other two as the three watched Brett bump into people on the way to the locker rooms.
Liam sat on one of the tables with a small smile on his face as he listened to Adriana's voice as she talked to Nathan, one of the guys on the lacrosse team, as she stood outside of her Math class and Liam let his frown grow slightly as he slowly came to terms with how whipped he was for the younger girl.
