Adriana.

I entered the school after a few seconds of lingering at the front door. "Hey," I turned my head to see Mason jogging towards me and I smiled back at him, holding the door open for him. "I haven't seen you in forever! What've you been up to?" Mason asked as I let the door shut behind us.

"Yeah I know," I smiled at Mason as we walked towards his locker. "It's uhh.. I've been busy with stuff," I shrugged. I wasn't sure if Mason knew about.. werewolves but it was Liam's job to tell him - not mine.

"I get it," Mason spoke as we stopped beside his locker. He unlocked it and I glanced around the hallways, instantly turning back to face Mason as my eyes landed on Liam fiddling with his hands as he talked to Scott and Malia. "Yours?" Mason asked.

"Yeah." I agreed and he shut his locker. We began to walk to my locker and Scott looked towards me and away from Malia. He opened his mouth and began to walk in our direction before Liam grabbed the back of his shirt, yanking him back and muttering something to him whilst shaking his head.

"Are you okay?" Mason questioned.

I glanced at him to see he was looking at me with concerned eyes. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine," I reassured Mason with a small smile. "I just had a lot of homework to catch up on so I haven't really been sleeping," I lied and Mason seemed to believe me.

"Tell me about it," Mason spoke with a roll of his eyes as he looked forward again. "Just count yourself lucky that you're not in Mr Anderson's English class - I swear he lives off student's unhappiness," Mason rolled his eyes again.

"I'll do that," I laughed out.

We reached my locker a few seconds later and I unlocked it and sighed lightly as my eyes landed on the pictures of Liam, Mason and I stuck to the side of my door. Liam had his head turned to face either me or Mason in most of them and in one of them he was hugging me from behind with his forehead rested on my shoulder. "Adriana?"

I snapped back into reality at the sound of Mason's voice and noticed everyone was now exiting the hallways, signalling class had started. "Sorry," I muttered, shaking my head as I reached into my locker and pulled out my maths note book and textbook. "Got distracted there,"

"Are you and Liam okay?" Mason asked as I shut my locker and I glanced at him. "I mean, he usually comes running to you when school starts but he just sorta.. ignored us today," Mason shrugged sadly.

"I guess, I mean we're friends and all," I spoke and Mason raised his eyebrows at me. "Yes - friends." I confirmed. I didn't know what Liam and I were anymore, could I really handle being with a werewolf? "I guess he just needed to talk to Malia and Scott." I shrugged.

"I guess," Mason muttered as we both headed towards our Math class. "It's just weird seeing you guys not talking. I don't want you two to fight again," Mason sighed out. ".. and I really don't want to be in the middle of it again."

"I promise you won't be," I reassured Mason with a smile and he nodded as we entered our Math class. "Talk to you after class," He nodded as he sat down on his seat and I moved to the back of the class where my seat was. I sat down and set my notebook and textbook on the desk in front of me, taking a pen and a pencil out of my bag.

"Okay class, today is going to be a revision period as your test if coming up soon," Mr Yers spoke as I opened my jotter, "Probably tomorrow too.. Alright today we're just gonna go over some of the formulas you guys will need to know for the test."

"Adriana!" I turned my head at the call of my name and frowned when I realised it was Kira. I mean it was sorta expected, it's lacrosse practice and there was no Liam in the girl's changing room to stop her. "About last ni-"

"Leave it Kira, please." I shook my head, pulling my t-shirt over my head and picking up my body armor. "Just.. keep me out of it. I won't tell anyone I promise I just don't wanna be involved in this.. mess," I turned to her as I pulled my jersey over my head after my black body armor.

She looked at me for a few seconds before nodding with a sigh and turning away from me, setting her stuff down on a bench further from where she normally would change. I sighed out as I pulled on the shorts and knee pads.

I stood up and looked into the mirror, brushing my hair down with my hands before pulling it up into a ponytail. I glanced over my outfit, smiling as I ran my fingers over my lucky number; 2. I picked my helmet up from the bench and glanced back at Kira before exiting.

I stepped out onto the field and walked over to Greenberg, smiling at him as we started up a conversation. "How come you're not talking to Dunbar?" I glanced up just as Liam looked at us, probably because he heard his name.

"No reason." I shrugged and Greenberg nodded, beginning to tell me about how Coach had harassed him in his Economics class. "Wow he really doesn't like you," I laughed and Greenberg nodded, laughing too.

"Alright guys!" Everyone jogged over to circle around Coach as he blew his whistle. "You feeling better, Peters?" He asked me and I nodded, ignoring the stares from Isaac, Kira, Stiles, Liam and Scott. "Good! Alright little bit of a competitive game today! Team one here and team two here." Coach spoke, pointing to different sides of the field as he spoke.

Everyone cheered at the sound of an actual game instead of the regular throwing, catching and barging lessons we normally learned. "Peters! Team two!" I smiled at my lucky number and walked to team two, high-fiving the hands that were held out.

"Oh, we've totally got this! All we gotta worry about is Lahey tryna' kill us." Nathan Smith spoke and I glanced at Team one seeing everyone I was trying to avoid was on it.

"I'll take care of him." I nodded and everyone looked at me with worried. Isaac was a very.. violent.. no, passionate lacrosse player and I was a 5''2 fragile little girl. "I've got it." I nodded, reassuring my team mates as we all cheered, hitting our helmets together before spreading out.

I was a right attacker and Isaac was a defender at the left side.

I glanced back at Nathan, nodding once. Coach blew his whistle and Scott picked up the ball, throwing it to Kira. I intercepted the ball and threw it towards number 5, who I couldn't remember the name of, before looking around the field.

My eyes landed on Isaac who was running towards number 5. I quickly started running towards him, speeding up and slamming into him as hard as I could. I heard him yelp as I knocked both of us over and number 5 jumped over us, ducking under Kira as she attempted to hit into him.

I climbed off of Isaac, holding my hand out for him. He took my hand and I dragged him up but just as he was about to start speaking I turned on my heel and jogged back to my side, my eyes landing on Scott who was running towards me, holding the ball in his stick.

I shook my head and pretended to duck out of the way but just as he passed me I stood up, hitting him in the lower stomach with my shoulder, causing him to flip over. I heard Coach cheer loudly as I raised my hands in innocence at Scott who groaned, rolling around on the ground as he covered his.. lower region.

I picked the ball back up as Nathan appeared beside me and we both nodded before running down the field, copying the Scira tactic which was I ran, dodging people, whilst Nathan hit others out of my way.

I took a deep breath as Liam came running towards me. His eyes flashed yellow for a second before he dipped out, completely avoiding me and giving me a clear shot. I pulled my stick back before flicking it forward, sucking in a breath as I watched the ball go to the left of the goalie and land in the back of the net. "YES!" Nathan yelled from beside me and squeezed me into a hug as the whole team jogged over, cheering for my goal.

I glanced over number 17's shoulder, looking at Scott who had Isaac leaning on him with Kira at the other side of him. Stiles was talking to Liam with a confused look on his face and I watched in suspense as Liam groaned out, storming off of the field before throwing his stick down on the pile, ignoring Coach's calls.
