Adriana.

"Liaaam!" I called as I stepped into his house, closing his front door behind myself. "Hellooo?" Liam had texted me around fifteen minutes ago asking me to come around to his house. "Liam?!"

As I called his name for the second time there was a sudden crash upstairs. I panicked at this and looked up at the ceiling, hearing a scream. I quickly began to run towards the stairs and up them, each crash, yell and scream motivating me to move faster.

"Liam?" I gasped out as I stood in the doorway of his room, seeing him sitting in the middle of his bed, his knuckles bleeding and his head buried in his arms which were rested on top of his knees that were pressed against his chest.

I looked around his room, seeing almost everything had been trashed and there were a few dents and holes in his walls. I paused for a second, examining the situation.. what if he hit me? I bit into my lip and looked at Liam just as he looked up at me, a small whimper escaping his lips.

This simple noise made me make up my mind and quickly drop my bag, rushing to Liam's bed, crawling onto the bed beside him. "What happened?" I reached out for his hand, carefully running my fingers across his knuckles.

"I.." He looked up at me, his tear filled eyes showing weakness and vulnerability.

"Shh, don't speak." I muttered softly as I wrapped my arms around his head, pulling his head below mine so my chin rested on the top of his head. "I'm here.." I spoke as he moved his hands to my waist, pulling himself towards me. I slowly moved backwards so I was leaning against the headboard of his bed and he was almost lying down, still clinging onto me.

I didn't want to make him talk about whatever was making him upset so I simply raised my hands to his head, folding my fingers through his hair softly, pulling out the tugs and knots that had formed. "Do you want me to call Scott or Stiles?"

He simply shook his head, breathing heavily onto my chest and neck as he buried his head further into the crook of my neck. "Alright." I stayed silent after this, letting my eyes stray around his destroyed room, silently questioning why he was so angry. I now know that he has I.E.D so that probably explains the way he reacted to whatever was bothering him but I can't help but wonder what pushed his buttons so much.

About twenty-five minutes later had me in my original position but Liam had now moved down so his head was resting on my lap, his fingers drawing circles on my exposed stomach since my top had rolled up when he moved.

The silence remained but I became less curious about Liam's anger. All I cared about right now was him being happy - and keeping him happy. I watched him as he switched the direction his finger was moving in, a content look on his face. Dried tears lined his face and I couldn't help but reach out to wipe them away.

He stopped moving his fingers as he moved his eyes up to meet mine after glancing at my fingers that ran across his cheeks. My fingers dropped from his face but we continued to stare into each other's eyes.

Before I could open my eyes from blinking, I felt warm lips on mine. I froze for a second before feeling myself melt into Liam's touch. His warm hands made their way to my hips, holding me in place as he adjusted his position, moving his leg over mine.

My hands instantly moved to his face, one holding his jawline whilst the other gripped onto the back of his neck, pulling him closer to me. We kissed for a few more seconds before realising how wrong this was. I had literally just broken up with Brett and Liam was in an extremely vulnerable place right now.

I pulled back from the kiss, keeping my eyes closed as I cussed myself out for letting that happen. "I- I'm sorry." Liam muttered as he noticed my expression.

"No, no." I quickly opened my eyes, seeing him looking at me with a guilty expression. "It- It wasn't your fault, Liam... You're vulnerable right now and I've just got out of a relationship, neither of us were thinking straight."

"I was!" I looked up to Liam as he spoke and he pursed his lips. "I was... I just." He closed his eyes tightly before standing up and getting off of the bed, covering his face with his hands as he paced back and forth. "I wasn't thinking." He confirmed after a few more silent seconds of him pacing back and forth.

"I get it, Liam." I spoke softly and he looked back over his shoulder at me. "Listen, It was a mistake.." I spoke as I stood up from the bed and Liam frowned, turning his head away from me. "Let's just forget about it."

"Yeah. okay." Liam spoke before turning his head to me. "Sorry - I've gotta go met Scott at his house." He stared at me for a few seconds before I realised I was still standing next to his bed, looking like a huge idiot.

"Yeah, yeah.. catch you later?" I spoke as I brushed off the invisible dirt from my jeans. Liam bent over, picking up my bag which I had discarded as soon as I walked into Liam's bedroom. He stepped up to me and held out his arm, my bag naming from his hand.

I reached forward with a small smile and took my bags strap from his grip, brushing our fingers together in the process. He instantly yanked his hand back from me at the touch and  I frowned at his actions. What had I done to make him so upset?

I hovered in the room for a few more seconds before turning on my heel and stepping towards the door, my mind racing with the many thoughts of why Liam could have been upset with me right now. I paused at the doorway, debating wether or not to ask him but before I could the door was shut behind me, the only sounds I heard were the last few words that Liam said to me before the door was tightly shut behind me.

"Catch you later."
