"Adriana!" I spun on my heel, giving a quick smile at Lydia as I walked to join her and Malia on the bleachers. Coach had told me I wasn't going to be playing this game as it was a rematch between Beacon Hills High and Devenford Prep and he had said that the boys were going to be extremely rough today - 'probably would knock me out without mercy' as he put it.
He had told Kira she probably wouldn't play either but she still wore her lacrosse uniform as she said she was still durable and had a high pain tolerance whatever that meant. "Hey how's it going?" I asked the two girls as Lydia shuffled to the side, making room for me.
I had talked to Lydia a few times around the school but I hadn't really seen Malia since the party at Lydia's Lake House. Apparently her and Stiles had broken up and she had never had a serious relationship before so she took it roughly - I don't blame her.
"Good! Glad to see you again!" Malia spoke with a happy tone as she looked at me. I could see she still hadn't fully recovered from her break-up with Stiles and I decided not to ask her about it.
"That's good then." I spoke as I fiddled with the end of the shirt I was wearing over my top.

"Are you not playing tonight?" Lydia asked after a few seconds and at that moment, a boy from Devenford Prep was suddenly hit into rather harshly, knocking him over the shoulder of.. I narrowed my eyes, reading the name on the back of the jersey, snorting slightly when I realised it was Isaac. "Nevermind."
We all laughed at Lydia's observation and I buttoned and unbuttoned the flannel I was wearing as I watched the game. I wasn't sure what I should be cheering right now. I mean, I go to school here and all my friends are on this team but then again, my .. boyfriend? is on the other team.
But as Liam threw the ball across the field, flying right past the goal keeper's stick I couldn't help but raise to my feet, cheering loudly as the ball hit the back of the net. I clapped my hands in the air as everyone around me cheered.
Liam turned his head in my direction, smiling brightly and giving me a small wave as I cheered again.
