I was working incredibly hard on Jake and I's next date. Claiming dibs to outshine your boyfriend was never easy.

Never.

Well, unless you're blessed with brilliant ideas like me.

I smirked deviously as I looked at my creations standing before me holding various ochestra instruments. "Alright!" I grinned. "Now, I just need to put the hearts in and then teach you all how to play music..."

I went to my wall of jars and started selecting hearts.

I wonder which song I should pick for him.

I pondered over the thought. You know...I never asked Jake what his favorite song was...

I deadpanned. He wouldn't like any of the music I liked since we were from practically two different time periods.

But, last time I was peeping on him assisting Emma, he was humming a song.

"Ugh... But what was it?" I tapped my head gently with a stick before shaking my head. "I'll think of something..." I pulled out my ladder and slid the ladder towards my fresher organs.

I grabbed three jars before scaling down the ladder.

Once I turned around I nearly shrieked when a certain red head caught my eyes.

"MY GOODNESS!" I reddened at the girl before me and clutched my jars closer. "Haven't you ever heard of announcing yourself?"

"S-Sorry Enoch. It's...It's just that you usually sense me... And since we don't hang out anymore...I guess you didn't pick up on me." Her eyes were glued on the floor.

"Eye contact, fireball."

She looked up at me instantly. "..."

"We're still friends. I never kicked you out, Olive." I shot her a small smile before putting the jars down.

She grabbed my hand, earning an arched brow from me. "I don't want to be just
a friend Enoch..."

"What do you mean? Do you want to be family? I mean you're kinda like a sister..." I blushed feeling bad that I hadn't said that earlier.

Her hair was ablaze and her eyes were sparkling. "..."

"What?"

Is she that offended? Perhaps I should have notioned that idea prior...?

She yanked me in for a kiss, crushing my lips against hers. A searing wave of heat transferred as her skin burned mine for every second we stayed connected.

It felt like a minute had passed before I came to my senses and yanked myself away. "Oli, what the hell was that?"

"I love you, you idiot! But then you and Jake became a thing and you won't even look at me!"

"I looked at you the other day!"

"Not how you look at Jacob! It's not fair! He doesn't know you like I know you!"

"That's because he knows more than you."

She stepped closer with narrowed eyes. "But he doesn't love you like I do..."

I was becoming frustrated. "I'm gay Olive. I don't like girls."

"Then I guess I'll make you straight." The ginger smashed me into the wall.

"Let go of me." I spat bitterly.

Her hands started to burn my wrist with cruel intent. "Make me."
