Shadowraven walked out of the room Charmcaster was in. He had checked up on her as he said he was going to do, but it wasn't easy to comfort the crying girl. He didn't know why she was crying, but he did know he hated to see her cry. He walked into the training room, only to see Tigerblaze panting heavily on the floor and Angel standing over her, smirking. The two of them looked over at Shadowraven. "Where's Keller and Blaze?" He asked. "Keller went out to make sure the perimeter is safe and Blaze found an old TV and antenna, so he's watching TV." Angel replied, motioning to an old room. "For an abandoned warehouse, the electricity is still working..." Tigerblaze said. "I may or may not have messed with the electricity box thing and turned on the electricity. Don't worry, hopefully this warehouse is temporary." Shadowraven said.
Blaze suddenly ran into the training room, his eyes wide. "Guys, big problem. Really big problem." He panted. "What is it?" Asked Angel. "Dragon. Big, white winged, snow dragon." He replied. "Let's go. Blaze, go and get Charmcaster alright?" Shadowraven commanded. Blaze nodded and went off to find her. "Angel, Tigerblaze, stop being gay for a minute and get ready." He said. Tigerblaze blushed and Angel chuckled. "Can't stop they Gay Train, honey." She mocked. Shadowraven rolled his eyes and summoned his sword.
"I'll meet you guys out there alright? I gotta see if I can slow that thing down." He said, running outside. Angel nodded and helped Tigerblaze up. Tigerblaze was about to run to a room to get ready when she realized she had no clothes. "Wait, aren't we supposed to have costumes or something?" She asked Angel. Angel shrugged and grabbed her shotgun. "I don't know what you can do, but I gotta help Shadowraven. I'll see you out there, my love." Angel replied, kissing Tigerblaze's cheek. Tigerblaze blushed, raising her hand slightly. "Are we low key dating?" She asked the angel. Angel shrugged. "Ask me on a date or ask me out and we'll see!" She replied. She spread her wings and took off, leaving behind a very confused Tigerblaze.
Tigerblaze sighed and began to run, following her (girl?)friend. Blaze, Charmcaster, and Keller caught up to Tigerblaze. "Sis, we gotta be careful. Well, you gotta be careful. I don't know how to control my power but I'm gonna try!" Blaze shouted. Keller looked at the siblings. "Calm your minds and think of summoning your power. Then you'll be fine, got it?" He encouraged. Tigerblaze nodded and Blaze smiled. "Thanks!" He said. Charmcaster simply took a mental note of what Keller had said, even though the advice wasn't for her.
The teens found Shadowraven swinging a giant battle axe at the dragon's foot, only getting small cuts on it. The dragon didn't seem to be paying attention to him though, even though Shadowraven seemed to be using every bit of strength he had. The dragon suddenly looked down at him and kicked him, sending him flying through several buildings. "Shadowraven!" Screamed Charmcaster, running towards him. Shadowraven stood up shakily, coughing and sneezing. "I'm fine Charm. You think you can use your ability?" He asked her. Charmcaster looked at the floor, staying silent.
"Charm?" He asked. She shook her head slightly. "It's fine. Don't be embarrassed, I'm supposed to be able to use magic too, but we're all newbies." He told the girl. Charmcaster looked up at him. "Be careful, okay? You're not invincible." She scolded. Shadowraven smiled, which melted Charmcaster's heart a little. "I'll be fine. For now, we have to deal with that guy." He said, pointing to the dragon. The two heard a whoop of joy and watched as Blaze suddenly shot from the ground, two columns of fire propelling him forward. "Hope you're in the mood for Mexican food, dragon!" He shouted, then shot a column of fire into the dragon's face.
The dragon roared and swatted at Blaze. Blaze stopped propelling himself and Angel swooped by, grabbing him before the dragon could crush Blaze. Blaze whooped in glee as Angel flew him to the ground. "Come on, we gotta help them." Shadowraven said. He ran to the group, Charmcaster behind him. "Drakensang, dual pistols!" He shouted, throwing his sword in the air. The sword shimmered, glowed, then fell into Shadowraven's hands as two dual pistols. He aimed at the dragon's eyes and began firing. Charmcaster looked around for something she could use as a weapon. She saw the staff, which she had left back at the base, lying in the rubble.
Charmcaster stared at it in confusion. "What are you doing here?" She asked. The orb on the staff changed color, then flew towards Charmcaster. As if something else were controlling her, she stretched out her hand and caught it. "I don't know what I'm doing, but here goes nothing!" She shouted, aiming the staff's orb at the dragon. A column of fire suddenly shot out of the orb straight at the dragon, hitting it in the stomach. The dragon looked around, expecting Blaze to be in the air. Instead of seeing the boy, he saw a girl pointing a staff at it. It roared and shot a gust of cold wind at the girl. "Staff, do it again! Please!" She shouted as the gust came towards her.
A flash of metal flew in front of her as the cold wind came close. Shadowraven had thrown his sword, which was in the form of a shield, in front of Charmcaster. The wind stuck itself to the shield, turning it to ice. He ran to the shield, and with surprising agility, threw it at the dragon. The shield hit the dragon in the chest, then pinged off in a different direction. "Hey! Over here!" He shouted. Charmcaster stared in horror and confusion bit realized what he was doing. Keller was climbing up the dragon and Shadowraven, Blaze, Angel, and now Charmcaster were distracting it so it couldn't see Keller. The shield reappeared in Shadowraven's hand. "Charm, behind me, now." He commanded. She nodded and stood behind him, staff ready.
The dragon roared and the Dark Blood screamed. "Sanrama, get him to unleash Ragnarok!" He shouted. Sanrama slammed a claw down, hoping to crush the boy. Shadowraven's eyes widened as he saw the claw coming towards him and Charmcaster. Time seemed to slow down as he shoved Charmcaster out of the way. "Shadowraven, no!" She shouted as the claw came down. Shadowraven put the shield in front of him, even though he knew it was useless. The claw came down, Shadowraven underneath it.
