Part 12 - Danger Ahead

After a clear struggle with Umbridge, and the centaurs dragging her away, I watched as my friends leaving for the Ministry.
I had no clue of what was going to happen, expect to warn Professor McGonagall about it, and find Draco.
As soon as I told her, she jumped up alarmed, and ran out of her office.
And then I had to find Draco.
I ran to the library, hoping he would be there - only, not. I didnt think twice before running down the stairs to the dungeons. I wished I would come across at least one of my Slytherin friends. Luckily Blaise was wandering down the corridor, and found me.
"What are you doing here ?!" he asked.
"I have to see Draco! " I said. "Now !"
There was an urgency in my voice, which he realized. Telling me to wait, he ran upto their common room, and came out almost immediately with Draco.
Draco took my hand and lead me off to a deserted hallway. He looked tired, and there were dark circles around his eyes.
"Draco...are you ok ?" I asked, touching his arm. "You look -"
"Mia" He began, and then hugged me. He was trembling.
"Draco, what is it ?!" I asked.
"Mia, Im sorry" he said. "Everything is going wrong "
"What is ?" I was confused now.
"Draco, please"
"Mia, Father" he said, his eyes trying to avoid mine. " I know you always tried to ignore all the rumors. And you have always stuck to my side"
I nodded slowly, fear crept inside me.
"Mia, its all true" he whispered. "Everything"
There were tears in his eyes. He looked scared.
"Father...he is a Death Eater "he said.
And I wasnt surprised by it.
I knew Harry was saying the truth. All along. I wasnt mad at Draco for hiding this from me, even.
"Draco" I said. "I knew"
He looked at me weakly.
"Draco, I dont care, alright ? I love you, thats all that matters"
He hugged me tighter, placing soft kisses on my forhead.
"Hes really back, isnt he" I said.
Draco nodded.
"Mia, I dont want you to get into any trouble helping Potter " Draco said, his eyes piercing mine. "Do you understand ?"
I remained quiet.
"Do you understand, Mia?" he asked more sternly.
"Yes, Draco" I said.
His arms were around me again, and he said " Maybe we should run away"
"Maybe we should" I agreed.

The happenings at the Ministry of Magic. Thats what everyone talked about now. Bellatrix Lestrange killed Harry's godfather, Sirius Black. Death Eaters were facing arrest.
There was nothing I could do to help Draco. He was a mess.
Mum and Dad decided to come to Hogwarts and take me home, rather than me going by train. The last thing I saw was the pained look on Draco's face.
