"The alps?" The pilot asked astonished.
"Yes." I replied for the fifth time exasperated.
  "Why?" The pilot asked again.
"Just take me there and don't ask me to explain again!" I shouted.
The pilot clearly afraid now held up his hands in surrender, "okay, okay when do you want to go?"
  "Now." I stated sternly.
"Uh sorry sweetheart now doesn't work for me." The pilot apologized.
"What do you mean now doesn't work?" I demanded, "you asked me when I wanted to go didn't you?"
"Yeah but I thought you'd come back tomorrow or something."
   "I can't wait till tomorrow!"
"I can't go now!" The pilot complained. I sighed.
"I really didn't want to have to do this." I told him. The pilot had a look of panic.
  "Do what?"
I tugged my rifle off my shoulder and aimed directly at his forehead.
"Woah, woah hold on don't do that now!" The pilot shrieked.
Truth be told I didn't really want to kill him and I wasn't going to. I just had to make sure he brought me to the alps.
"Listen closely you will take me to the alps right now and help me find my lover then I will pay you and leave you be. Understood?" I made sure to speak slow and crystal clear.
"Yes, yes I understand I'll do it just don't shoot!" The pilot basically cried.
  "Great."
----------------------------------------------
"So how do you expect to find him?" The pilot asked.
"Just go lower." I demanded looking out the window of the helicopter frantically.
The pilot lowered the helicopter. "Lower." I commanded.
"Sorry this is as low as I can go."
"Hey, I know you you're Katie Rogers!" The pilot exclaimed suddenly.
"Yes I am." I replied only half listening .
Suddenly a streak of red appeared in the snow. Squinting hard it appeared to be blood. "Stop! There! Let me off!" I shouted.
  "You find something?"
"No, I'm screaming to get off for no reason." I replied in a snarky manner.
"Okay, going down good luck kid." The pilot said.
"Thank you so so much. I'll pay you when I come back with Bucky." I promised before descending the ladder to the blinding white snow below.
To say it was freezing here would be an understatement. And I definitely wasn't dressed warm enough. I could already feel frostbite. But I didn't care. I had to save Bucky. There was no backing out.
I basically ran through the bottomless snow as fast as I could following the blood. Which I had to assume was Bucky's. Which only made me run faster.
Finally in the blizzard faintly not to far from me I saw a large black figure. I ran as fast as I could.
As I got closer I realized that the black figure was a sharp jagged rock and lying up against it was Bucky. The snow surrounding and under him was stained crimson red. I ran and knelt next to him. I worked fast opening my pack and treating his arm well more like stump. He was missing his left arm. I cried hysterically so much so that I almost couldn't see what I was doing from the tears to the biting wind and snow.
"This is all my fault, I'm so sorry Bucky." I sobbed when I finished cleaning and treating his arm the best I could.
Could be worse though. At least he was alive. Unconscious, bloody, dirty, probably hungry and freezing but alive.
I was in the middle of lifting Bucky up out of the snow when I saw the helicopter I rode here come crashing into a mountainside. It went down in raging flames and exploded on impact.
"NO! NO!!" I shrieked. "NO! WHY?!!"
I dug in my pack for my walkie-talkie. I pulled it out and spoke into into.
"This is Private Katie Rogers I'm in the Swiss Alps at (insert a longitude and latitude) I'm with Sergeant James Barnes he's badly hurt. Please send help. Please." I choked out the last word.
I have no clue if my message worked. But I had to hope. I piled blankets on Bucky and set up a miserable camp. I tried building a fire which was hopeless.
I sat by Bucky chattering and freezing to death for hours. No one came to help.
I got to the point where I jumped up and started screaming.
"HELP!! HELP PLEASE!! PLEASE SOMEONE!!" I screamed that till my voice was practically gone and I was so cold I could no longer move. So I sat beside Bucky once again and curled up next to him.
"Help." I croaked before falling deep asleep.

Bucky's P.O.V.
Falling. I was falling. A blood curling scream rang through the air. It was Katie it had to be.
I was going to miss her so much.
Suddenly it all stopped. Pain erupted through my left side. Something trickled down my side. I painfully turned my head to see my left arm was now just a stump. I struggled to stay awake. Then things went black. All black.
Then color returned in a soft golden light. Was I dead?
I found myself in my bed in my Brooklyn apartment. There was a pounding on the door downstairs. Slowly and grumbling I got out of bed.
My clock read 8:00am. The calendar said February 14, 1932. I was 15 it was three months before Katie and Steve's mother had died.
I walked downstairs and opened the door. A cold gust of wind blew into me. A light snow was falling while at least 20 inches were already on the ground.
Ugh stupid snow and cold, I thought. I hate winter and cold things.
15 year old Katie stood in the doorway bundled up in winter clothes her dirty blonde hair tied in a side ponytail. Her eyes had their usual childish, mischievous, and fierce glint to them.
This all seemed familiar this happened before. "Hey doll." I said rubbing sleep out of my eyes.
"Bucky! Guess what we don't have school today! They say there's so much snow you can't even walk down the street!" She exclaimed happily.
I groaned, "I guess I have to shovel now."
"Yes, but not alone I'm here to help." Katie replied.
"What are you doing here so early?" I ask.
"I wanted to go outside but Steve wasn't allowed so I was hanging out with him to keep him company but according to mother I was riling him up too much so I've been sent here." She explains.
"Now come on now we've got work to do." Katie insists.
I groan more. "Alright give me a moment."
Shortly we were both outside shoveling away.
"Hey!" I protested as a snowball nailed me in the face. Katie giggled.
"Really you're hitting me with snowballs?" I snapped.
"Yes." Katie said before throwing another. This one I whacked away with my shovel. I then dropped my shovel and nailed Katie in the chest with a snowball.
Her expression then turned to mock despair. She put her hand against her forehead holding where I hit her. "Oh you've killed me!" She joked before falling backwards in the snow with a soft thump.
"I'll get you again to!" I yelled.
Katie shot up out of the snow covered in the white powdery stuff. "Not if you can't catch me!" She yelled before running off. I chased after her.
She tripped and fell face first in the snow. I laughed. She slowly sat up.
"Hey that's not funny!" Katie pouted.
I chuckled again. "It is too."
I went over and tackled her to the ground again. "I've got you." I taunted.
  Katie smirked. "Sure?"
Then she rolled over and suddenly was on top of me. "Now I've got you." She teased.
Then the whole memory shifted. Suddenly the snow didn't look as beautiful and majestic. Now the sky had a tint of red. Katie was no longer on top of me. Instead skinny Steve was now.
  "Steve?" I asked confused.
"Yeah, remember me?" He snarled. His tone vicious.
"Of course I do," I said worried.
Steve snorted, "yeah sure, you don't care about me. You're no friend."
"Steve? What's wrong?" I asked panicking.
Steve disappeared. Katie reappeared in front of me. She was now arm in arm with John Filch.
"Hello James." She said in a sickly sweet tone. James? Katie only called me James if she was angry with me or desperately wanted my attention.
  "Kit-Kat!" I called back.
She scrunched up her face in disgust. "Don't call me that I don't love you anymore you freak! Cripple!"
Confused I looked at myself. And saw what she meant. My left arm was completely missing.
I wanted to wake up from this nightmare so bad but I couldn't seem to.
It ended with me screaming out in pure agony.
