Maria Hill orders peeking her head into the room I was given. "Come on let's go." Steve says nudging me awake. Hill led us down a few hallways and eventually into what looked like a conference room. Director Fury sat at a gray plastic folding table with a laptop set up in front of him. Maria Hill took the folding chair next to him while me and Steve stood on either side of Sam and Nat. "So for the two of you that are new around here I'm the former head of S.H.I.E.L.D Director Fury or Sir. Now you," Director Fury said pointing at me and Sam, "are now agents Wilson and Rogers-" "Barnes." I blurt suddenly drawing all the attention on me. "Pardon?" The director asks. "I'd prefer Barnes." I clarified. Director Fury nodded, "Barnes it is." Steve looked at me bewildered. "Since when do you go by Katie Barnes?" "I married him, its about time I did." "Right then, Hill explain the plan." Fury ordered Maria Hill. "Here's what's going to happen, the helicarriers are going to rain bullets and destruction down on their enemies in less than a few minutes now. What you three need to do is place these computer chips into the coding system of the helicarriers to stop them from destroying the city." Maria Hill explains. "Wait three of us?" I ask concerned for my involvement in the mission. "We've decided to leave you out of this Miss. Barnes." Fury says. "No you can't! Why?" I protest furious. "You're connection with the Winter Soldier might sabotage this." Fury explained. "I want to help!" I whine. "No." Fury insists giving me an evil death glare. "No suit up." He ordered the other three, "you go back to your quarters." Nat, Steve and Sam rushed to get ready for the mission. I stormed off to my quarters. However my intention wasn't to sit around and do nothing. Looking through a closet I found a black tight leather mission suit. I then put my hair into an elegant updo and just for fun a bit of makeup 1940's style.

Sneaking around the underground facility to find Steve and Sam was pretty easy. I followed them to a large very official looking building. I was careful to stay behind to not get noticed and booted back to hide. "How do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" Sam asked as they broke into a run. I found this the opportune moment to reveal myself. I picked up my pace so I ran beside them. "If they're shooting at you they're bad." I replied sassily. "Katie what are you doing?" Steve demands. "Too late for me to go back now." I say in a sing song voice. "We're going to talk later." Steve warns. As we walk through the building a man in full uniform comes into view. "He's bad right?" Sam asks. "I believe so." Steve replies. "You two go on I'll handle him." Sam says getting ready for a fight. "You sure tough guy?" I ask with a playful smirk. Sam just rolls his eyes. Steve gave Sam a quick nod, "see you on the other side." Sam nodded in reply. "What's the plan to get into the carriers?" I ask. "Um jumping through the window." Steve says uncertainly. "Great plan." I say sarcastically. Steve throws me a glare. That's when we come across a desk with two men sitting at it. Steve starts preparing for a fight. I held up my hand to stop him. "I've got this." I sauntered up to the two men and put on a flirtatious smile. "Hey boys." I said flashing them a hopefully stunning smile. I supposed it was working cause they were both making goo goo eyes at me. I had to resist the urge to puke. "Mi- Miss you don't belong in here." One of the men stutter. "This place isn't open to the public." The other says more confident. "Well if I see any of the public in this area I'll let you know." I said and began walking past them. I felt one of them grab onto my arm. "Miss you count as the public." The guy said. "Well it's not my fault you have a faulty security system." I say, "oh and you shouldn't have done that." I add with a bittersweet smile. The guy gave me a puzzled look. Taking advantage of his shock I used my other arm to elbow him in the chest. He let go of my arm in shock. I spun round house kicking him in response. He keeled over and I kneed him in the head knocking him out. I saw the other guy coming at me out of the corner of my eye. I drew my pistol in seconds and then shot him twice in the leg without even looking.
