"Say what?",Elliot asked with a shocked expression.
"I said,I think i'm pregnant,El."
"What do you mean you 'think' ?"
"I haven't been to the doctors yet,but I am...uhm...late and have been getting more and more nauseous lately."
"Are you going to tell Carlisle?",he asked.
"Why should I tell the bastard?"
"He has the right to know."
"He can go fuck himself!",she yelled,getting up and leaving the restroom. She went straight to Cragen's office and knocked.
"Come in.",she heard through the door. She went in.
"Hi,Captain."
"Olivia,how can I help you?"
"Well,Cap,I don't feel so good and was wondering if I could take the rest of the day off?",she explained.
"Is everything okay?",he asked concerned.
"Everything's fine. I'm sure it's just a stomach bug."
"Well then off you go. Go see a doctor. "
"I will do just that,thank you.",she said as she walked out. On her way home she stopped by the drugstore to buy some pregnancy tests. She immediately went to take the tests when she got home. She waited 3 minutes for the results. After the 3 minutes she went to check. It all showed positive. She was indeed pregnant,by her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Next day
Olivia walked into the bullpen that morning. She went straight to the captain's office and knocked.
"Come in.",Cragen said not looking up.
"Captain?"
"Detective Benson. You feeling better already?"
"Yeah,I wanna tell you something."
"Shoot.", Cragen said. She hesitated a moment before talking.
"I'm pregnant. One month along."
Cragen sat awestruck. He cleared his throat and spoke up.
"Well congratulations,Liv. Carlisle must be thrilled."
"He doesn't know."
"What do mean?"
"We're separated."
"You're divorced?"
"No,but I have my papers drawn up."
"Oh. When are you gonna tell him?"
"When the time is right."
"And when's that?"
"It may be never."
"He has the right to know Liv."
"Yeah.",she said walking out. She sat down at her desk.
"So Liv,is it confirmed?",asked Elliot,across from his desk.
"Yeah."
"Congratulations,Liv. How many kids again? Oh yeah,FIVE!",Elliot exclaimed,a slight smirk on his face.
"You think being a parent is easy?",she asked getting frustrated with him. "What do you know?!"
"Yeah,what do I know?",he sighed. "I was just trying to cheer you up,you know."
"I'm sorry El. Must be the fucking hormones."
"Yeah,just go ahead and blame it on the hormones. Poor hormones.",he said,making Olivia laugh.
For the next few hours they sat at their respective desks and worked on the case they caught,in silence. Elliot broke that silence.
"So what do you say we go grab some dinner,Benson?"
"Are you asking me on a date,Stabler?",she played.
"So what if I am?"
"I'd be honoured.",Olivia said,standing up and putting on her coat.
They drove in comfortable silence to their favourite diner. When they got there,they sat in the corner booth,where they always sat. The waiter walked up to them.
"So what will it be,detectives?"
"I'll take a steak burger and fries please.",said Elliot.
"A chicken salad for me please.",Olivia said.
"Anything to drink."
"I'll take a beer and Liv will take a..."
"A water please",she cut him off.
"Coming right up."
A few minutes later the waiter returned with their orders. They sat and ate in silence till Love me Tender by Norah Jones started playing.
"Carlisle and I did our first dance on this song.",Olivia spoke up. Elliot stood up,walked to her side,extended his hand to her and and asked, "Would you like this dance?"
She hesitated a moment,but put her hand in his. Elliot wrapped his arm around her waist. They swayed to the music.

Elliot and Olivia stared into each other's eyes. El leaned in to kiss Liv and she did the same. The kiss was sweet and passionate. Neither one of them wanted to stop,but Olivia eventually did.
"That shouldn't have happened.",said Liv.
"What do you mean?",El asked.
"I'm still a married woman,El.",she said. "And if we carry on like this,it will just prove Carlisle's suspicions right."
"But you can't deny that you also want this as bad as I do.",Liv said nothing. "I'm right."
"I gotta go,El. I'll see you tomorrow.",she said walking out the diner,leaving Elliot standing there.
