Three months later
THE 16TH PRECINCT
Olivia strolled into the 1-6 three months after the birth of her son. Fin looked up from his paperwork and was the first on to see her.
"Good morning Liv. It's great to have you back.",said Fin as he took her in his embrace. "How's the little man?"
"Oh he's doing just fine. He's just growing up so fast.",she says taking out her phone to show Fin a picture. Just then Elliot walked in. He stopped when he saw her, but then continued to walk right past her. He didn't even acknowledge Liv's, "Good morning Elliot".
"Mind him. He has been like that since after you gave birth.", says Fin.
"I'm gonna go talk to him.",she walked right up to Elliot and lightly put her hand on his shoulder. " Can we talk?"
"We have nothing to talk about, Olivia.", he said shrugging her hand off his shoulder. He stood up and walked upstairs to the roof. Olivia followed.
"Why are you acting like this all of a sudden? I thought we made peace with what happened. I mean, it did happen months ago.", she said.
"YOU made peace with what happened, Olivia.", he said starting to get angry. "YOU just expected me to carry on like nothing had happened. I did start to accept it, but after seeing you in that hospital room cradling your little boy and Carlisle holding you in his arms, just made me even more angry and jealous.", Olivia stood speechless, so Elliot continued. "I couldn't help but think that, that should've been me holding you holding our baby.", he admitted.
"Elliot, I...", she started, but Elliot cut her off.
"You don't have to say anything, Olivia.", He said then started to walk off and into the building.
Olivia stood there, a single tear rolling down her face.
"What have I done? What have I gotten myself into?", She leaned on the railing as more tears rolled down her face.
