Chapter 12: That Annoying Brat

Killua's POV.

"Let's go, Gon!" I said as I carry Akira in bridal style and Alluka is at Keshino's back.

I can't waste a single second. Akira may die any minute now if her injuries aren't healed.

Her body is almost covered in blood and she is breathing heavily... A lot of her bones are broken and her head is dreadfully injured.

***Flashback***

We arrived at the base. Me and Keshino can see Alluka and Akira. Alluka is being held by Machi while Akira is fighting Feitan. She is one the ground almost unconscious. She is covered in blood.

"Damn it!" I whispered amd was about to barge in but someone held my shoulder.

"Calm down, Killua." it was Gon. Something has change around him.

"Gon! How did you...?" I was cutted by Gon.

"I talked to Wing san and told him what happened. I told him that I can't watch you guys while I am doing nothing. Akira and Alluka are also my friends." Gon said a he clutched his fist.

I nodded.

Then As we planned, Gon did his signature move.

"Janken..." Gon said as he did his stance. A big amount of aura was collected into his fist.

"GO!" I shouted giving him his signal.

"...Ken!" he shouted as he crashed the wall that made a huge explosion and a thick smokescreen. We entered the building swiftly. Gon attacked Machi and Keshino grabbed Alluka. Thank God Alluka is fine.

Then I use Godspeed to reach Akira. I quickly but gently carried her up. Her blood is dripping down to my arms.

"tsk!" was all I could say.

Then when the smokescreen was about to fade, we escaped from the building.

***End of Flashback***

Dont you dare die on me Akira...

At the hospital 🏥

"How is she?" I asked as I sitted beside Akira.

"To be honest, I don't know how she can managed to breathe till now. In her case, it will be called as a miracle if she survived. She lost a lot of blood. She has wounds all over her body. She has a serious injury in her head. Her spine is broken as well as her other bones." the doctor said staring at her.

"The next thing I'll say may be rude but, she will need all the prayer and support she can get." the doctor said.

"Tsk..." I whispered.

"She doesn't need it." I said.

"Huh?" the man looked at me.

"She can survive. She is strong enough to surpass the pain. I believe in her." I said while staring at the girl in the bed right before my eyes.

"It seems you're right... Keep believing in her and always stay by her side. She'll need it." the doctor said as he went out of the room and closed the door, leaving me and Akira alone.

"Akira...please wake up..." I said as I held her arm.

Tears begun to fall from my eyes.

Gon's POV.

Alluka, Keshino and me waited outside the room. Then the doctor came out.

"Doc, how is she?" Keshino asked.

We all stood up from our seats.

"You have a very strong friend. I believe that she will heal in no time, just like how that boy belives in her." The doctor said and smiled as he walked away.

That boy? Is he talking about Killua?

Then we heard someone crying. We looked behind us and saw Alluka crying.

"Akira nee is hurt because of Alluka. Alluka will never forgive herself." Alluka cried.

"Alluka..." I said as I hugged her. One arm on her back and my other arm patting her head.

"...Akira nee saved you because she love you. It's not your fault, okay? I'm sure your Akira nee will be sad if she will hear what you're saying right now." I said as I looked at her.

"Remember, It's not your fault." I said as I smiled at her.

"Gon nii!" she shouted as she hugged me again and cried. I comforted her until she felt better.

Killua's POV.

One week has passed. Akira is not yet awake. She always cried in her sleep. I don't even know why. I can't even do anything about her situation.

(At the Phantom Troupe's base.)

"Why did you have to do that to her, Feitan?" Franklin asked.

"her?" Feitan asked.

"Akira..." Franklin answered.

"She deserves it." Feitan answered.

"She deserves to be beaten to pulp?!" Kortupi joined the conversation.

"She deserves a better future." Machi said as she look at the ground tears coming out from her eyes.

"How will she get a better future by what you did?!" Shizuku shouted.

"She is happy with those kids. She will have a better future with them than when she's with us." Nobunaga said.

"If we get her to hate us, she won't come back with us even if she remember her past." Shalnark continued.

"I want her life to be peaceful and safe. The life that we can't give her." Phinks said.

"So that's why..." Franklin said as he and Shizuku kept quiet.

"At least now we're sure that she won't come back, right Fei?" Machi asked facing the guy.

"Yeah. That annoying brat won't come back." Feitan said as he shed a tear.

Back at the hospital

As the white haired boy left the room. The moonlight shines in the room revealing a beautiful young girl with a yellowish brown hair laying on the bed.

Then suddenly the finger of the girl moved slowly. Her mouth opened and her eyes that was closed for a long time opened gently.
