Chapter 22: Decision

Killua's POV.

After Gon left. I sat under the tree and look up at the sky as it started to rain.

"So he can really tell..." I whispered.

Then the rain started to get stronger, I wait a few more minutes before I decided to go inside.

Thanks to the tree, I didn't get very wet. I entered the house and went to the kitchen to drink some water. While I was at the kitchen, I heard the front door opened. I went outside the kitchen to look at the person who arrived.

It was Akira. Her hair and clothes are all wet.

"Akira." I said.

"Killua?..." she said as she looked at me but quickly looked down.

"Where have you been? Are you alright?" I said as went closer to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." She said still facing the ground. "I just went for a walk." She said as she walked passed me.

I don't know why, but I grabbed her hand causing her to stop walking.

"You don't look fine." I said.

"Believe, I feel better than ever." She said as she faked a smile.

Then she went to their room. Tsk...how come you would lie to me if I can see the truth right before my eyes.

Akira's POV.

"Akira...you're all wet! Wait here I'll get some towels." Fumiko said as she ran and opened the closet.

"Here." She said as she offered me the towels. I didn't accept them and just stared at the floor.

"Akira? You look sick...are you okay?" She asked.

I clenched my fist. "Fumiko...I learned a very important lesson today. Guess what?" I said as tears started to ran down from my eyes.

"Akira?" She said as she leaned closer to me.

"Never love a person who is not willing to love you back." I said as I felt dizzy and everything went black.

Killua's POV.

Tsk...what's wrong with Akira all of a sudden.

"AKIRA! OI AKIRA! HEY!" I heard Fumiko screamed so I hurriedly went to their room.

I saw Akira on the ground, unconscious while Fumiko is also on the ground shaking her shoulder.

"What happened?!" I asked, no I almost shouted as I get closer to them.

"She suddenly fainted." Fumiko said.

I put my palm on her forehead. She is burning.

"She caught a fever. Do you have any medicine she may take?" I asked.

Then Gon entered the room. "What's going on he asked.

"Gon, do you have a herbal medicine for fever? Akira really needs it me." I said.

Then he hurriedly went to our room and searched in his bag. While Fumiko also went to the kitchen and brought some water and a face towel in a basin.

"Here." she said handing me the said items. I put the towel on her forehead that might help in recovering.

"I found some herbs that can help her. Here let her smell this." Gon said as gave me some weird leaves that I never seen  before. But it was Gon we are talking about, so nothing to worry.

I let Akira to smell the herbs and after a while her breathing was back to normal. As her body heat also dropped slightly above normal.

Akira's POV.

I opened my eyes and let my hand ran through my head.

"What happened?" I asked myself.

I looked around me but saw no one. I sat up the bed and started to remember things that happened yesterday.

"Oh, right, I fainted." I mumbled.

Then I stood up and went outside the room. I saw Fumiko and Gon eating breakfast.

"Ohayo." I said as I forced a smile on my face.

"Akira! you're awake!" Gon shouted.

"Thank goodness you're alright." Fumiko said as she embraced me.

"Where are the others?" I asked as she let go of me.

"Oh, they went otside to buy something." Gon said. Then the front door opened revealing two persons.

"Oh! Here they are!" Gon cheered.

"Akira nee! You're awake! Yeeey! You had us worried!" Alluka cheered as she hugged me.

I giggled a bit and hugged her back. "Gomenasai Alluka." I said.

"She's right. They were worried sick about you." Killua said.

They? So he wasn't worried...

"You're one to talk Killua." Gon said as I looked at him. "You were the one who was worried the most when she fainted. You even insisted to watch over her." Gon teased as he started running.

"Hey, GON!!!" Killua said as he tried to catch Gon.

We laughed at them.

"Nee Akira nee." Alluka said as she tugged my shirt.

"Nani Alluka?" I asked as I faced her.

"Me and onii chan found something interesting." She said as she handed me a folded poster.

"A festival?" I asked.

She nodded. "It says that they will held a ball to come with it."

"Ah! So they decided already." Fumiko said.

"Who decided?" I asked.

"The city officials. Actually a lot of suggestions has been sent to the office on how to celebrate the upcoming festival. And I guess they decided to held a ball. It will be the first time." she said.

"Akira nee san, can we go?" Alluka asked as she put her hands together.

"Why not?" I said as I patted her head and smiled.

Maybe, that is the right time to tell him.
