Clovers POV

The sun creaks through the blinds, filling the whole room with the sunlight. My eyes flutter open, waking up from my sleep. I lie in my bed, covers draped over me.

A pin drop could be heard, not even the birds were tweeting. I lift my upper body from the bed and start to look around the room. Everyone else seemed to still be asleep, trying to make the most of their weekend mornings. Although it was hot yesterday, most people had their covers on them as it got quite cold in the morning

I remove the cover from over my legs, suddenly remembering what happened yesterday. I lift my loose pajamas bottoms up my legs, revealing my blisters and burns. I wince and the sight of them.

Although Dominic tried so hard to heal them as much as he could, they still looked pretty much the same.

*Flashback to yesterday evening*

Dominic comes back from the bathroom for the 7th time, bringing back a cloth. The floor is now soaking wet from the dripping water. We've been doing this for the past hour now, but still no progress.

"Does it feel better now?" He asks, sighing as he places the cloth back onto my legs. The cloth has gone a really light shade of pink from where it has been cleaning up the blood.

"Kind of. But I will have to go soon, everyone would be coming back in right about now. And then your dorm buddies will see me here. " I say.

He looks at me, worriedly. He's been looking like that ever since he saw me in the corridor. I smile at him, but he doesn't smile back.

"Clover, I'm really anxious about you. I already was but now you've made me more scared than ever." He quietly says, looking me straight in the eye.

"I promise, I will try really hard not to get into any more trouble."

"But what if the school finds out your a vampire. The people you're in trouble with, know what they're doing. And if people find out, you will have to be confined."

"Dominic, please trust me. Ok?" He nods his head slowly, not going to argue with me. I swing my legs over to the side of the bed and they touch the ground. I take a deep breath in, while Dominic watches me with confusion.

Eventually, I lift my body from of the bed and I stand up. But before I know it, my weight starts to lean forward and I nearly hit the ground before Dominic catches me.

"You could've told me you were going to stand up!" He shouts, carrying me back to his bed. I sigh from frustration that I can't get up.

"But I need to get back to your dorm before any of your friends come!" I say, getting up much quicker than before onto my feet. Dominic grabs me by the waist to keep me steady. I wobble a little and then regain my balance.

I slowly move one leg forward, and then the other. Although it really hurts, I keep going. I eventually get to the door after 2 minutes, Dominic still holding me carefully.

"Do you want me to carry you to your dorm so it's quicker or should we carry on doing this?" He asks nervously.

"Just carry me. I've given up." I sigh and he lifts me like he did last time. He opens the door and a few people are in the corridor but they don't take any notice of us.

He takes me back to my dorm, managing not to bump into any teachers or they would ask Dominic to put me down. He drops me back onto my legs.

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" He asks me.

"Yea, don't worry. Bye!" I smile at him and walk slowly into my dorm. Everyone seems to be in there, playing on their phones. I shut the door behind me and everyone looks up.

"Clover, are you ok?" Olive asks me, nervously. Tiffany eyes me.

"Yea, I'm fine." I walk on my own to the bed, being careful not to fall other. Both Tiffany and Olive watch me. I make it to the bed and crawl onto it.

"Well, it's been a long day. I'm off to sleep. Night!" I say quickly before they can ask more questions and shut my eyes.

*end of flashback*

I walk to the bathroom, slowly and quietly. I'm able to walk slightly faster now, as the burns have healed slightly over the night. I lock the bathroom door and turn the tap on.

The water runs down the sink, and I put my hand under it. Once my hand is wet, I place it onto the burns and it sings slightly before calming down. It takes me a while but I do that to the other leg as well and then arms until every part of my body that got burnt has been covered in water.

I dry the parts and walk out of the bathroom. Everyone seems to be awake now, not out of their beds. Olive smiles at me from her bunk and I smile back before grabbing my clothes and going back into the bathroom again.

*Time passes*

Olive comes out of the bathroom, being the last person to be dressed. Music blares into my ears, as Tiffany and her friends, put music on

"How was the sun yesterday? I had homework so I didn't go out." I lie, and she sits on my mattress.

"It was ok. I talked to a few people but I just sat on the bench and watched the flowers." She half shouts above the music.

Suddenly, there's a knock at the door and Tiffany stops the music. A teacher comes in.

"Hello, girls. I was wondering if any of you have seen a ring? Mrs. Waterstone has lost hers." The teacher says. I realise it's my mum.

"No sorry, I haven't seen it," I say feeling sorry for her. Olive shakes her head.

"I think I've seen it," Tiffany suddenly says. All the eyes turn to her. "I think I saw Clover hiding something under her pillow last night. I didn't comment on it, as I thought it was something private." She says, pointing to me and then my bed. She bats her eyelids at the teacher, trying to show her innocence.

My heart raises as I realise what she's done. "What do you mean? I don't remember doing that?!" I say.

"Could we possibly look under your pillow, Clover?" The teacher says, fully walking into the room now.

"Sure." The teacher walks to my bed and lifts the pillow. And sure enough, my mum's ring is under my pillow. My eyes nearly pop out of their sockets.

All eyes turn to me. "See, I wasn't lying." Tiffany smirks. The teacher looks at me, disappointedly.

"Clover, come to the head teachers office in 5 minutes. If your late or don't come, that will expand your punishment. The teacher says and exits the room.

Silence fills the air and I turn around to Tiffany. "What did you do!?!?" I scream at her. She seems a bit taken back from the way I'm shouting.

"Well, it's like what we said yesterday. We just want you expelled." She says and she and her gang leave the room.

"Clover, I know you didn't do it." Olive suddenly says and I turn to her.

"Thank you, Olive, hopefully, the head teacher believes me too," I say and walk out the door leaving Olive all alone in the room.

Hello!! Another chapter! Sadly, I didn't have any time to write part of this at school so I had to do all of it today! It took me a while but I finally did it!

I break up in 1 week!! And then it's Halloween! You could say I will be having a Halloween special if I keep up with the updating so don't depend on it!

Not the longest chapter in the world and I could've written more but I was too tired to do more ( because I'm lazy ) but I hope you liked it!
