To say that History was the most awkward class, in the history of being awkward, is like saying that I don't love books, which is the BIGGEST understatement ever. So, Cal and I share History with Ian. Whoopsy daisy, not a good idea, at all!
I sit right at the window, with Ian next to me, and Cal right at the aisle seat. Today... I most definitely did not want to sit next to Ian, so I asked Cal if he could exchange with Ian. When we got to class, we trudged up to Ian, who was joking with his friends (other than us, obviously). "Ian, can you switch with me today? I want to sit next to Zoe-bear." Cal tells Ian, turning to me. "You wanna sit with me, right cutie-pie?" Cal asks me, winking at me. I frown at him before grinning at him. I got what he was doing. Ian just hated being around love-sick and sappy people, which is ironic, because he is the biggest flirt and can say the sappiest and cheesiest of things, like ever. I giggle a little too much and pout at Ian,who rolls his eyes and moves over. Cal slides in next to me and quirks an eyebrow at me.
"Seriously???? You giggled? And pouted? At him?" I he whispers, his tone hinting that he was a little unhappy and disgusted by me. Maybe not a little, but I really don't know. Miss Henry droned on and on in class. No offence to her, but the subject is rather boring. Not to mention the fact that her voice is so monotonous,it would send an insomniac to sleep.I was busy doodling when a paper ball landed on my head. I picked it up and opened it. It read:
Hey Ry,
Does he know? Cuz he sure acts like it. Wait,I bet 100 bucks he knows. After all, you guys are so buddy -buddy, he probably even knows your figure size and stuff. Forget him for a while, will you come with me to the mall after school? I have to go shopping for the party. Just saying, although mom woulda told you already, you are accompanying me to the party day after. It's the usual so you don't have to worry. Also, don't ignore me, it hurts right here --> ❤️
Luv u loads,
JI feel Cal breathing near my ear as he leans on my shoulder trying to read the note. I try to take it away, but he holds my hands in an iron tight grip. I squirm as he reads it. His eyes darken as he almost growls loudly.
"Is there anything you would like to say, Mr. Johnson?" Miss Henry asks Cal. He growls at her and then glares at Ian, who smiles innocently at Caleb and Miss Henry. " Mr. Johnson, out of my class. Detention for an hour! Out!" She shouts at him and he rolls his eyes turning to me. "Be careful, see you, okay?" I smile at him and watch as he walks out of class whistling jolly-ly. Is there a thing like that? Whatever.
In 5 minutes, the class erupts into shouts of glee as the bell rings. It is still 11:15, which meant the class had 25 minutes to end. Ha! Thanks,Cal,for being the best-est friend ever. I grab my bag and head out, walking to my locker. I find him waiting, leaning on my locker so I couldn't keep my books in. "Care to explain?" He asks, slitting his eyes at me. I sigh.
"Fine. But don't interrupt me,okay?" "Okay." "So I stole his phone in the morning. Then when he was about to get it from me, I teased him and walked away. He slammed me against the lockers and kissed me forcefully. Sure I kissed him back but, it didn't feel right. I pushed him away and ignored him. Happy, now?" "No." He says angrily.
