"Hey. How was French?" I ask Andy, who was busy typing away on her phone.

"Huh? Oh, it was fine. What about you?" She replied.

"Meh. It's history, what do you expect? Also, I was wondering.. when are cheerleading tryouts?"

Ian, who was drinking Coke, choked on his drink all of a sudden. Caleb blinked weirdly, and Andy just grinned at me.

"Day after, 4 o'clock at the gym." Was her reply.

We fist bumped and I laughed, feeling better now.

"Ian honey, I'm sorry 'bout yesterday, and I'll come with you, as long as we go for a shopping spree before the party. Malec knows how long it has been since I've had one."

He just shrugs before getting up and going out of the cafeteria. I roll my eyes and look at Caleb, who's busy munching on another slice of pizza.

"Stop eating, dumbass! We're gonna be late!!" Andy scolds him, and he just ignores her.

"Yeah okay whatever bro. and you..." he turns the glare at me, ".. just remember to tell Julian the truth. He should know, he deserves to know this much at least."

"Hey?! I'm not your bro! okay?!" Andy shrieks at Caleb, who just shrugs at her. She rolls her eyes, muttering something about how she'd end up killing him one of these days.

"Uhh- okay. But only cause you asked me to." I replied, sighing and looking down. "Okay, well, we have to head to class, so yeah.. Imma go now." Caleb trails off, awkwardly pointing towards the school building."

"Yeah, okay. See you later babe." I tell him, looking up at his towering figure.

"C'mere." he says, pulling me into a tight embrace. I relaxed, taking in a deep breath, grinning when I smelt his cologne. "Mhmmmm... you really smell nice." I tell him, laughing loudly when he frowns, and he raises his eyebrows at me. I shrug and shoo him off, sighing and sitting down on the bench.

Andy comes over to me, sits next to me and puts her head on my shoulder. "What's wrong?" she asks me, a frown on her face.

"How'd you know something was off?" I say, startled.

"Honey, I'm your best friend, you should be worried if I didn't know something's up. So.. you gonna tell me or not?" She replies, smiling up at me.

"Yeah, okay. Remember how I said I had moved on from Ian, and that I liked Caleb. Well.. turns out, I actually haven't and that I never actually did.  So.. yeah. And the fact that we kinda kissed and then I started ignoring him cause I felt guilty about Caleb doesn't really help matters at all. Oh, and that same day, Caleb asked me out. So.. yeah. That's that." I rant to her, feeling the tenseness from my muscles leave and feeling lighter.

"Whoa.. now it makes more sense. You guys really are melodramatic, aren't you? Look, let me tell you something, boys," She sighs. "Boys are complicated animals. Not that we aren't, but for them, they can't just confess their feelings to a girl just like that. They need a lot of motivation and pushing to do it. And I think Caleb genuinely likes you. But then again, I'm sure there's more potential between you and Jules. Frankly, I think this has gone on long enough. You need to confess to Jules. You really have to, or else, nothing's ever gonna happen. You'll just end up confusing yourselves, and it'll be a big chaos and jumble of feelings. From my experience, that never works. So.. yeah."

I smiled widely at her and nudge her gently. "Wanna ditch today?" I watched her eyes widen and her face break out into a huge smile.

"Oh gosh! I really love you so much right now.. Yeah, I definitely need to get away from school and home. You need to get away from this drama.. totes works out, ya know?" She grins at me, and my grin widens to mirror hers.

"Macy's and then sleepover at mine?" I ask her.

She looks up at the ceiling as we were walking to my car, pretending to be deep in thought. "Umm... I don't know. Like DUH?!?!!!   You know it babe." She giggles and I laugh, tossing her the keys to my matte black Gran Turismo Maserati.
