I feel sapphire trembling and it Makes me feel like my world is crumbling around me so I propose the idea of taking her back to my house or hers and letting her get dressed and maybe we could go to the mall to get her mind off of what happened.
As the words leave my mouth I see her eyes light up like a million stars in the sky and at that notion, my heart fills with joy but to do this she'll have to call her mom but I have an idea I tell her to tell her mom that one of her friends and her mom were wondering if she could go to the mall with them, I take her to her locker and she quickly changes into a spare change of clothes since the clothes she had on before mysteriously disappeared; thank god today was a half-day!
I watch her sweetly talk her mom into letting her go but before she hangs up her mom wants to talk to the mother of the friend so she hands me the phone and I put on my best friendly and motherly voice and about 5 minutes later she says bye and we are on our way
